A court in Iran has sentenced Washington Post reporter Jason Rezaian to an unspecified prison term, the state news agency IRNA said on Sunday, quoting the judiciary spokesman.
"Serving a jail term is in Jason Rezaian's sentence but I cannot give details," IRNA quoted the spokesman, Gholamhossein Mohseni Ejei, as telling journalists during a weekly news conference in Tehran.

That 'hostile government' would be the USA. Since he is with the WP he is likely guilty, as would be most members of the media.
Maybe it it time for Sean Penn to pay another visit to Iran. I have genuine admiration for his sneaking that American Orthodox Jewish prisoner from Bolivia across a hostile border and back into the US.
