CHARLESTON, S.C. -- Sen. Ted Cruz, who has said that the United States should not allow Syrian Muslim refugees into the country but should provide safe haven to fleeing Christians, plans to introduce legislation that would bar Syrian refugees from entering the country.

LOL, It should be, but it won’t.
Exactly the right approach. Take the issue to the American people.
Sad but true.
Ryan is awake to this now and starting CYA empty theatrics with henchman eternal Kevin McCarthy.
He gets my vote. Expect the left to go insane with hatred for this man and to do all they can to destroy him with their lies.
“Good for him. While others talk, Cruz does.”
Oh Please.
We all know this bill is going nowhere, and will never be signed into law. It is little more than a gesture just for you can run here and say that very line.
Jindal actually signed an EO in LA refusing to take them. That has more of an effect than this useless move, and that aint saying much.
“Didn’t Rand Paul already do this?”
He better get a move on it...After we’ve got a few hundred thousand of the terrorists, the bill won’t do much good...
Excellent! The Democrats, who seem to still run the Senate, will stall it though.
Paul Ryan’s 1st Test!
I’ll give Cruz and Paul an A for effort. A probable F for actual results. But it does make for good political theater. As for the individual states issuing EO’s in regards this recent immigration problem, unless they are willing to threaten secession and back it up with physical action, this will go nowhere. Immigration policy is within the Federal domain. The states are plagued with immigrant violence and issues now but have done virtually nothing to stem it except to ‘appeal’ for help from the Federal government. So far it’s all theater from the top on down............
So the congress passes a bill ... and the boats will still drop off these refugees ... the DofJ will do nothing to prevent it.
[ Excellent. We should take NONE. ]
No Syrian Muslims for sure, if we can Vet Syrian Christians we should rescue those people, I haven;t heard of any ISIS members who are christian.
Or maybe he knows its all phony campaign window dressing.
Either way, pretending to have balls he's screwed himself for getting anything passed in the near future.
He's never had any legislative achievements and nothing's going to change now.
They can easily pretend to be Christians. There is not way to prove it. We must say no to all Syrians and all from countries hostile to us.
Cruz to victory and liberty. He not only talks the talk, he walks the walk.
When you understand that Leftists and Islamists both want to destroy Western Civilization, everything becomes crystal clear.
Maybe you can let in a few Christians.
Just give them a Bacon Test first to be sure.
Exactly. Even if his bill goes nowhere, at the very least it smokes out the traitors and their interests.
Take note of who pushes back the most. Those are the ones you want to target with removing from office, or any position of authority for that matter.
Won't it be wonderful when president Cruz appoints Supreme Court judges and Federal judges who follow the U.S. Constitution, just like him?
