You look really really small in people eyes when you seem to have failed to realize that your making a losing hypocritic argument on a , well ? Ted Cruz thread when Ted Cruz is “ actually “ trying to protect American lives from terrorist.

Where is Trump actually doing anything trying to protect American lives as we speak ?

Except open his gas bag fly trap mouth ?

Actions speak louder than words....

The American people will notice.

With Trump ? The people can and will turn the TV off or turn the dial...

Trump is just a figment of peoples wild imaginations “ Cult Fiction Hero “

Unbeliveable.

You know this bill is not going anywhere. Cruz knows it’s not.

It’s is nothing but political theater, but because you back him for president political theater now = “actually trying to protect American lives from terrorist”.

I dont care if it’s Cruz or Rand Paul. Meaningless efforts are MEANINGLESS.

“Where is Trump actually doing anything trying to protect American lives as we speak ?”

I guess being the guy whose presence actually got these issues past the press that were mightily successful ignoring Cruz likely doesn’t mean anything.

“Donald Trump has done nothing of any consequence in the arena where things could actually get done or effect American lives except open his big mouth.”

Done nothing?

This is the guy that got these issues for 2016 out front!

It doesn’t matter if Cruz “talked” about this 9, 10, or 20 months ago in a senate speech or on a talk show. Trump was the one to effectively define the issues of this campaign with those issues, and took the brunt of the media assault after doing so!

Do you think the guy in 3rd or 4th, that the press easily ignores would have been able to pull this off this effectively with their softball coverage of Jeb Bush, whom I might remind you, was the expected nominee before Trump got in on this, sending the previous wonder candidate, Scott Walker, packing.

But hey, talk about Monday Quarterbacking! Now you guys are just brushing that off and almost retroactively giving Cruz the sole credit, or arrogantly pretending like that stuff was going to happen anyway.

You know, it just occurred to me as I was reading this thread...

...it’s unreal to see people who call themselves conservatives spitting in rage because a solid Constitutional conservative is taking action to stop the flow of murderous Muslims into this country.

I mean, think about it.

Shouldn’t this be a clue to those engaging in such behavior that, well...something is very wrong?

No one is “spitting in rage”. Seriously take yourself off the pedestal.

It is what it is. A meaningless introduction to a bill that will go nowhere. The fact that this is a discussion is what is sad.

The real disconnect is between those of us that are not going to cheer over something for feel-goods, and those that are more enamored with gestures that are clearly become nothing more than “fan service” to give a conservatives a “warm feeling” that things “are being done”, when only some adoring fans of this one senator’s presidential run actually are saying that with a straight face.

It’s a joke! And if we have descended so far that THIS is what we have to look towards as the frigging best we can do, then yes, there is something that is very wrong, and it isn’t those of us rolling our eyes at the waste of time.

Yeah, like I said, I’m sorry the Constitutionalist’s efforts bug you so much.

Maybe Trump’s plan to have us pay for “beautiful” internment camps in Syria where they’ll have nice weather and be “happy’ are more to your liking. Now that’s solid, sensible action there. Because Lord knows, we all want those Muslims to be happy and have plenty of sun.

How to you vet refugees when they have nothing in the databases?....

There’s a difference between an refugee and a immigrant...do those who determine their status throughly understand that difference...do they care one way or another?

I understand catholic services is big on bringing them in and will assist them in signing up for benefits, medical housing etc....and by the way...those helping are being well coached how to respond to people who oppose the refugees...from the community people themselves to the leadership within.
