Poll: Trump Surges to 42% Nationally; ‘Bad News for Marco Rubio’
Breitbart ^ | 14 Nov 2015 | John Nolte

Posted on 11/14/2015 10:08:29 AM PST by GonzoII

In the Reuters/Ipsos 5-day tracking poll that samples 534 Republicans, over the last week, Donald Trump has surged to a massive national lead in the GOP presidential primary. Currently, the billionaire businessman sits at 42% with likely Republican primary voters. His closest competitor is Ben Carson, who sits at just below 25%.

Last week both men were pretty much tied up at around 25%. That is a 17 point surge for Trump.

Among all Republicans, Trumps enjoys a 34% to 20% lead over Carson.

Reuters adds that this “is also bad news for Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL), who is widely considered to be emerging as the establishment-backed alternative to Trump.”

Rubio remains stuck at 10%.

While Coulter’s opportunistic remarks are disgusting to anyone with any decency

%$#'n morons on the left

Proposing to take guns away from law abiding citizens the same day a lone lunatic shoots up a school = not taking political advantage of tragedy

calling for a halt in the importation of members of a religion that openly claims to want to replace your constitutional republic with their bloody theocracy and is committing acts of violence against non members in the name of their religion the world over = taking advantage of tragedy.

Its really getting so I hate these people as much as they apparently hate me.

From the article:

"This event should inspire unity and mourning, and those who wish to capitalize on the issue for their own political gain are spitting in the face of the French citizenry."

Hey moron: Bullets kill, spit doesn't.

Rubio is a good strategic pick, Walker would be better...

Don't you think Trump should pick a running mate who reinforces his anti-illegal message rather than detracts from it?

Exactly. Trump / Cruz, OR (my personal favorite ticket),

Trump / WEST (as in Allen West!)

Post 10 is absolutely 100% correct. I would like to say 1000% correct, but I guess that wouldn’t really make any sense.

I think he can safely drop criticism of Carson, and start publicly linking Clinton to the Muslim Brotherhood, and ISIS. From now until the election, the radical Islamists will not fail to keep their savagery in the news, and Trump should start the drum beat now and keep PIAPS with a wig on defense.

He should take your advice. I was listening to Savage yesterday who is pretty astute on these matters and he was saying that he doesn't know who is advising Trump but he (Trump) is making a significant tactical error by criticizing Carson (and other Repubs) while being silent on Hillary. It's time for Trump to focus on his real political enemy.

Thank you for referencing that article GonzoII. Please bear in mind that the following critique is directed at the article and not at you.

Noting that I will vote for Trump if nominated as Republican candidate, please consider the following. Unless patriots are unthinkingly expecting Trump to unconstitutionally run the country unilaterally like lawless Obama is, patriots will also need to elect a state sovereignty-respecting Congress that will support Trumps vision for the country within the framework of the Constitution.

Otherwise, if Trump inherits the current Constitution-ignoring, RINO-controlled Congress, then its only a matter of time before we have a president as lawless as Obama again.

Yep. I started with Trump/Cruz, but I’m drifting more and more towards Trump/West. West is not perfect, but he’s genuine military. We need that aspect these days.

Carson seems to zone out on a regular basis. If Trump stays on message about the borders it won’t matter what Carson says, because people will be paying attention to Trump. With the exception of Cruz, it’s too late now for the others to become chest thumpers on immigration and border security.

"Otherwise, if Trump inherits the current Constitution-ignoring, RINO-controlled Congress, then its only a matter of time before we have a president as lawless as Obama again."

Good point. That's why we need a landslide so Congress will get in line with Trump or else face their voters in the midterms.

After yesterday and today in France, I expect Trump and Cruz to pick up points.

Everybody else will start dropping.

Aside from Allen West, I can say that another truly excellent VP choice for Trump would be former Chairman of the Joint Chief’s of Staff, General Peter Pace, USMC (retired).

Pace as you may or may not recall, was Chairman during the GWB administration and was basically thrown under the bus and NOT renominated for another term with the JCS after he stated that homosexuality was ‘immoral’.

Pace is a Marine’s Marine, a decorated Vietnam combat veteran of the highest moral fiber, he certainly has the military background needed, and would provide Trump with the precise kind of counsel and advice needed in this world today.

Trump/Pace = another fine potential ticket.

If all Muslim’s believe in “submission to Allah”, then no Muslim can be President, as all Presidents should believe in submission to our Constitution.

On the other hand, hysteria is bad. I can remember at the time of 9/11 a Sihk (sp?) who was not a Muslim was murdered because he was wearing a turban as they all do. Perhaps it would help if the whole world decided not to emphasize religion and stopped wearing labeling wear.

“A truly “peaceful muslim” would be reading the Holy Bible today and begging Jesus Christ to come into their life and save them from their religion.”

Or, AT THE VERY LEAST, would be ratting out their mosque brothers when they plan these attacks.

...and that’s the part that I have NEVER seen an answer for. I get the fact that 99.9% of Muslims DO NOT go around killing infidels in Western countries. I get the fact that 90% of Muslims in Western countries are HORRIFIED by these kinds of killings. What I CANNOT understand is how they can RECRUIT enough people to carry out a 7-PRONG ATTACK without anyone squealing.

I know what would happen in my church if a tapped a friend on the shoulder and asked him if he’d be interested in killing a bunch of Jews. The friend would politely decline my as I’m sure the vast majority of Muslims also do - but then MY FRIEND would immediately contact the FBI and make damn sure that I get stopped. That is the difference.
