Donald Trump and Marco Rubio won Tuesday's night primetime Republican debate, according to an overnight poll of Internet users who watched the contest, but Mr. Trump came out as the favorite among Republicans and left the best impression about his ability to serve as president.
Some 24% of debate-viewers named Mr. Trump and 23% picked Mr. Rubio as the winner of the eight-candidate event, which was sponsored by the Wall Street Journal and Fox Business News. Ted Cruz and Ben Carson followed, with 13% declaring each to have won.
Mr. Trump's lead in the Internet survey was larger among debate-watchers who said they’d vote in a Republican primary.
Among those GOP voters, Mr. Trump was declared the winner by 28%, with 23% naming Mr. Rubio. Mr. Cruz followed, with 16%, while Mr. Carson had 14%.

I wonder what Rubio thinks when Trump offers to transport hispanics to the interior of Mexico and dump them off? Isn’t it odd he didn’t object to Trumps plans? He wanted to make clear a lot of points having to do with taxes and spending, the military but nothing about immigration. hummp.
I’m shocked that WSJ is calling Trump the winner. They can’t stand Trump.

Truly, they do hate him. But I guess they had declare him the winner, since I’m sure many watched the results as they were tabulated.

The Establishment is abandoning Jeb and investing in Mr. rehearsed Amnesty loving Rubio.

We are about 1 percent of the voting population. We probably know this. The audience who don’t live and breath politics like we do are the ones who need your message.
A WSJ/Fox poll? Add 5 points to Trump and subtract 3 from Rubio. Then we will be closer to the truth.
Rubio says the same memorized speech each time, it is pure hot air because he is the most dangerous kind...an inexperienced chicken hawk and member of gang of 8 pushing amnesty. perfect candidate for the MIC & COC.
We should keep the devil we know instead of arming people who could be ISIS.
That is why I do not trust polls. Rand had more winning moments than Rubio. Polls are designed to sway people. Just look what happened in Canada last month where a poll released several days before the election / vote put the third place Grits in the “lead” for the first time in the entire campaign leading to the crash of the NDP & the ouster of the Conservative government. Polls are a type of psy-op aimed at manipulating the public.
But when you say that, someone always says it’s the economy stupid, when in fact, after looking at them wondering what planet they just landed here from, you gather yourself up and just walk away....if people are that stupid they don’t see we aren’t going to get anywhere without getting rid of illegal immigration first, save your breath ... your wasting your time....

Btw, did you know that Rubio’s dad was a bartender? And, that his mom was a maid, or single, or something like that. I get all of the stories mixed up :)
Trump’s policy lines are over the heads (and way ahead of the curve), of most folks.
I love watching the debate with my hubby. Whenever Trump throws out these brilliant lines (whether it be about Syria, China, currency, inversions)....hubby yells, “that’s right!!! Someone gets it and is finally saying it!”. He’s not even into politics like me, so I take that as a YUGE compliment to Trump.
Tucker Carlson said the same thing on the Hannity post debate panel. Steve Hayes about had a stroke and looked very petty trying deny Trump the point.
