As someone who has tried to build bridges with Jews in terms of the Conservative mindset this is the 2nd time she has done something like this, and I will have undue her mess, and explain it away because they will equate her words with all Conservatives / Tea Partier's and we all become nutters because of her foot in mouth ailment.

I can relate to her, just less vocally. Standard orthodox Judaism wants every human being to believe in the one Creator, G-d,and,to abide by seven basic precepts (with many off-shoots) that He commands. Not that all should convert to Judaism with its 613 comments and countless offshoots. But included in this is the requirement for every Hindu and Buddhist to change their beliefs, and additionally every trinitarian Christian to believe only in (what they would call the father) G-d. We believe that Christianity and Islam have “formatted” the world’s hard drive to accept this when Jews fulfil their part of G-d’s covenant collectively, becoming a true light to the nations.
Nothing short of miraculous, ey? Quite a chutzpah of them Jews too.

"Church Supper Sunday night!" I was in imminent danger of being smiled, hugged, fried-chickened and banana-puddinged to death.

The moslems think their religion is the only true religion. Michelle thinks her religion is the only true religion. And (I hope) you think your religion is the only true religion. There is absolutely nothing shocking about any of this. The thing that doesn't make sense is the inane "all religions are equally valid" line.

The point is not that you are "happy" in your religion, but that you are right and she is wrong. Everyone being "happy" in his own religion would mean that there is no "true religion" at all.

Followers of Christ want you to enjoy the Lord’s salvation, which is full reconciliation with the Creator. Don’t forget, Jesus was the JEWISH Savior, the promised Savior provided through the Jewish lineage. The Jewish people are indeed the chosen people of God, through whom the Messiah has been given.
Truth is truth, The Christian religion does not recognize man as worthy, only Christ, in Him we are children..
What do Jews think about salvation. Who gets into God’s grace and heaven according to you? If righteousness is found in being a Jew, if you care about people and their eternal fate, why aren’t you trying to help people find your view of life and how to live it pleasing to God. Is it a virtue not to care about other people’s spirituality?
