'Gay' rape in U.S. military: The Real Don't ask, don't tell
World Net Daily ^ | 11/03/2015 | Douglas Ernst

President Obama signed legislation repealing the U.S. military’s “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” policy in 2011, but servicemen are still keeping silent on a related issue: Male-on-male rape. A new study released by the American Psychological Association says male rape is underreported in the U.S. military. A true approximation of the problem may even be “15 times higher than has been previously reported.” The APA’s conclusions, released Tuesday, were drawn from data spanning the 1980s until present. Its authors found cases of male Military Sexual Trauma, or MST, ranged over the years from .02 percent to 12 percent, with an average of 1.1 percent. Anonymity during questioning raised reports of male MST from .6 percent to 2.8 percent.

Researchers concluded there were many factors discouraging men from filing MST reports. “Men may feel pressure to be ‘stoic warriors’ and may feel their ‘manhood’ earned through service has been stripped,” APA reported. “[Researchers] further found that men may experience sexual identity confusion. Taken as a whole, the research indicates significant barriers to disclosure of male MST, the majority of which can be captured under the broad umbrella of stigma and related self-report biases.” The Pentagon’s official number of male sexual assaults reported in 2013 was 14,000. The Washington Times noted Tuesday that APA’s findings indicate a more accurate estimate of male MST is 210,000...

“Sick and depraved”, this could be new American motto.

This crap goes back to Bill Clinton and his COED BCT. The military has steadily been used by the progressives to try every PC MC experiment from Muslim chaplains to Queers and Lesbians. I recall leading a Hatchet Force of Rhade yards and SF NCO’s. Not a damn one was a queer. We had great troops and a fine military until 1969. Our military has gone downhill fast starting with druggies. I recall the AA experiments with black CPT’s being sent to college then the advanced course and on to ROTC in 70-73. Then the likes of Colin Powell was given a mech INF BN command on the Korean DMZ in 73-74. He was one sad SOB. Trump needs to “Make Our Military Great Again” along with everything else that the left has screw’d up.

The reason for all the recent changes in the U.S. Armed Forces is to make them more sympathetic to the Federal Government and, in particular, Democrat Administrations.

This is designed to alter the sympathies of members of the Armed Forces, who have always been conservative and have voted overwhelmingly Republican.

Democrat politicians fear pro-Republican Armed Forces.

Also the American people are well pleased. Remember, polls showed 70 percent favor this, including a “Mitt” Romney.

Propaganda is a powerful tool, a bodyguard of lies that will advance something that otherwise the people would otherwise reject out of hand.

It’s interesting. No one seems to question the validity of this report about male on male rape.

Yet any thread on FR discussing male on female rape is filled with denials of the frequency and filled with ‘she asked for it’ and ‘she changed her mind’ type comments.

What if I suggested that these victims were into it but then changed their minds?

Doesn’t sound so good, does it.

You do know that Ronald W. Reagan was the first to jumpstart Colin Powell’s career; then GHWB took it to new heights. Colin though was never too grateful for his benefactors, it seemed to me.

Powell was given a BN command in 73 and he had done very little in Vietnam on his two tours. Hell he was an advisor with no real award on his 1st tour and after a very brief stint in 68-69 with an Inf BN as XO he was an asst. to the asst. Div G3 . The man is and was so lame in Korea in 73 that the BDE S-3 SGM, an SF trooper who had been in Laos and Vietnam had to go put down Powell’s troops that were race rioting. Powell’s so called soldier’s medal is highly questionable. I cannot picture Powell in any 3 shop. I doubt he can write an OP order. Powell had AA pals before Reagan.

The ones that are reported are just like the male on female types. A guy goes to sleep, usually under the influence, and wakes up to find his buddy or roommate groping him or worse.

Male/male, female/female and male/female assualts are so bad that they have 19,000 plis counselors worldwide plus all the unit reps to try and control what is happening.

General Ham says 3%. There’s a lot of sodomy going on in the military, but since most American families no longer participate, it’s not a big deal.

I was unaware of the race rioting. I have heard about the substandard Vietnam experience. Hey, at least he’s Ranger qualified. That’s more than many of Obama’s favorite soldiers.

He was the sorriest Field grade I saw in 9 years plus 19 prior to service as my old man was an O-6 with three wars.

They say that after 0-5 it’s all politics. That’s why Mixon & Boykin didn’t get beyond 3 stars.
