New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio endorsed Hillary Clinton on Friday for president.

"The candidate who I believe can fundamentally address income inequality effectively, the candidate [that] has the right vision and the right experience and ability to get the job done is Hillary Clinton," de Blasio said on MSNBC's "Morning Joe."

De Blasio, who was Clinton's campaign manager for her 2000 Senate bid, had been debating for months whether to endorse her.

"I've seen her vision and platform develop over five months. I'm extremely pleased with what she's put on the table," said de Blasio, who also served in President Bill Clinton's administration. President Clinton swore de Blasio into office last year.

It’s a sad state of affairs in America when the first words out of a politician’s mouth when extolling the ‘virtues’ of another candidate are that she/he can “fundamentally address income inequality effectively”.

Billthedrill:" Well, apparently de Blasio isn’t the loyal conservative we all thought he was..."

(article title):"New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio endorsed Hillary Clinton on Friday for president."
de Blasio has his eye on the Governors Office for New York, currently held by Cuomo, and will need a machine and money to accomplish this.
He is NOT going to separate himself from a Progressive/Commie money base for such a run for office.(Hello, George Soros !)

The candidate who I believe can fundamentally address income inequality effectively, the candidate [that] has the right vision and the right experience and ability to get the job done is Hillary Clinton,” ..................................... Well first thing we’ll need will be jobs so we can apply the income equality. Lets see, Hillary in 2000, running as Senator for NYS, promised 240,000 new high paying jobs. And they were where??? Oh yeah, she has the ??Proven?? experience to do what? All she has proven so far is she has the experience to make herself rich. She has shown that Evita was only a minor player compared to her.

the candidate [that] has ... the right experience and ability to get the job done is Hillary Clinton,"

A philandering husband she ignores, and enables, a vote for the Iraq War disaster and a dead ambassador. How any one, man, woman or democrat can endorse this woman is beyond my limited comprehension.

He also supports The Working Families Party (WFP). Which is a Social democracy and is a political ideology that supports economic and social interventions to promote social justice within the framework of a capitalist economy, and a policy regime involving welfare state provisions, collective bargaining arrangements, regulation of the economy in the general interest, redistribution of income and wealth, and a commitment to representative democracy.
