A teenaged girl who reportedly went missing on her way to church was found slain near her crashed minivan in a Dallas creek, officials said.
The body of Zoe Hastings, 18, was discovered Monday by police responding to calls about a vehicle in the creek near East Lake Highlands Drive and Easton Road. She had died from "obvious homicidal violence," Deputy Chief Rob Sherwin said during a press conference.

You are correct. I have been telling people (even told students in class) that we are headed for a civil war. People get upset, tell me I'm crazy and school administrators went nuts.
I don’t understand iCloud aggression either. It deleted hundreds of my pictures, some of which were irreplaceable, treasured memories. Why? I don’t understand it.
1st time I’ve heard of this case.

Ever since I updated to El Capitan, every time I start up I get a a popup demanding my info so I can join the iCloud.
There is no option to say no, nor to block it.

She stopped off at the drugstore on her way to the Mormon church to drop off a Redbox movie. She was murdered by a feral black guy.
The only thing I haven’t figured out is why the arrest was made by federal marshals instead of Dallas cops.
This all happened the same weekend that the feral black guy hacked a white jogger to death not too far away.

True, Lazmataz. We live in a remote area and have hung on
to lots of old manual farm tools from our parents and
grandparents. Water can be drawn from our well manually.
On another note: I suppose you are allowed to spell your
name any way you please; BUT, I think the correct rendering
of it is LAZ-MA-TAZ not LAZA-MA-TAZ. It’s like the
black girls spelling their names any way they want -
example: -Sheeka instead of Dash-sheeka. See? It’s just
wrong! On many levels!
My SIL has downloaded ALL their hundreds, even thousands, I suppose, pictures onto one of those sites and got rid of
the original photos. Seems like putting too much faith in
something impersonal that does not care to me; but, she’s a
German & you don’t tell her anything believe me! Nor do I
try. Nor care for that matter!

In the olden days if something like this happened, a section of the city would burn down and the next morning trees and lamp posts would (comment removed before the mods see it), but then it would be safe for people to walk the streets again for years.
