This is going to get real interesting. People say things need to be brought out about Trump. Well, this is a legitimate issue that needs to be brought out into the open about Carson before the voters.

Bringing religion into campaigning is pretty tacky, I think.

Darn Tootin’! If you don’t believe in armed combat, how the heck can you be Commander in Chief?
Sic him Donald! This is a major policy issue!

SDA’s don’t have an official policy on war.

If you recall, Carson is the one who questioned Donald’s faith first. Carson’s religion requires its members to be Pacifists and they only serve in non combatant roles in the military.
Carson rightly said a Muslim should not be POTUS because his faith conflicts with the Constitution. Well, neither should a Pacifist be Commander in Chief!

A lot of the most popular Presbyterian flavors aren’t very Christian anymore. I really don’t care if Dr. Carson or Mrs. Cruz eat meat or not. I don’t care (in a political sense) if they worship on Saturday or Sunday. I do care if their faith system is genuinely pro-life.

Being Presbyterian these days might appeal more to Liberals than Conservatives.

Ike was raised by a Jehovah’s Witness, and Nixon was a Quaker. This IS worth asking the doctor about.

Good point. And despite his naval career, I suspect Carter was a pacifist.

Malcolm Little was also raised in that cult. That’s probably what led him down the path of the even worse death cult of islam. No Mormans, no muzzies, no SDAs!

Lots of people will only vote for a Christian because that’s what a successful American culture is based on. Liberty comes from Jesus.

"SDAs dont have an official policy on war." On the contrary, SDA has held the position of pacifism since its founding in 1863. Here's a link that shows their Pacifist position through history and that position is still held today. Bear in mind, Carson is an Elder in that Church.

Heidi Cruz ....Growing up, Cruz visited numerous countries with her father, Peter Nelson, a dentist with a practice in San Luis Obispo; her mother, Suzanne Nelson, a former dental hygienist; and her brother, Scott Nelson, as part of missionary work her parents performed and dental work her father conducted in developing countries. The missions they performed were through the Seventh-day Adventist Church. I think those early travels made me expansive in terms of the things I wanted to do, Cruz said.....
