If you recall, Carson is the one who questioned Donald’s faith first. Carson’s religion requires its members to be Pacifists and they only serve in non combatant roles in the military.

Carson rightly said a Muslim should not be POTUS because his faith conflicts with the Constitution. Well, neither should a Pacifist be Commander in Chief!

Ike was raised by a Jehovah’s Witness, and Nixon was a Quaker. This IS worth asking the doctor about.

Good point. And despite his naval career, I suspect Carter was a pacifist.

SDA does not require pacifism from its members.

Carson has said that Zimmerman should have been convicted of manslaughter [for exercising his right of self defense] and that Michael Brown should have been stopped with non-lethal force. I wonder if these opinions tie into pacifism?

Religion or lack thereof defines a person more than anything else. It represents the values they’ve been taught their whole lives. It’s vitally important to know what a candidate’s religion and religious beliefs are. If religion doesn’t matter, would you argue it makes no difference whether you elect an Amish person or a Sunni Muslim?

Pacifists? Ugh. No wonder Carson said he wouldn’t have gone into Afghanistan. This guy is a real and present danger to the U.S. A pacifist as president would be extraordinarily dangerous.
