While political watchers were tuned in to the Democratic Debate on CNN, folks tuning in on Twitter found Donald Trump a bit more interesting than the five candidates who took the state at the Wynn Las Vegas Resort.
According to data compiled by Voactiv, Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump gained about 60,000 followers halfway through the Tuesday night debate. The leading GOP candidate was firing off shots throughout the whole event, including this zinger:-
According to a TIME tally of Twitter followers before and after the debate, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton gained about 15,000 followers during her dominating performance.
The Twitterverse seemed to have been feeling the Bern too, despite Sanders’ shaky performance, the Vermont senator raked in nearly 50,000 between his two accounts.

My son informed me that despite his school being mostly conservative and almost universally rejecting obama, that in his “government” class sanders the socialist had the support of half the class.
I was horrified. He knows what socialists do and destroy but this news was incredible. Hillary was not on the radar.
I see it in the high school generation

She was going to come out the winner no matter how she fared.
She could have gone out there in bib overalls and a dirty tee shirt, chugged beer and belched and farted all night and the state-run media would have said she outclassed and outwitted her opponents and emerged the clear winner.
That’s mainly because Sanders has been a quite, do-nothing socialist/independent up there in irrelevant Vermont.
As soon as we tie his philosophy to NK, Cuba, Red China and “Obamacare,” the world will see the blood dripping off this nasty little tyrant’s fangs.
I could only stomach about 30 minutes of the debate. Hildabeast looked like she was wearing a drug/alcohol induced grin (grimace) the whole time.
If these were the only five running I would have to go with Webb. And he gets points solely because he’s a fellow Marine. Even then it would be hard to cast a vote for him.
My son said he wants to “thank CNN for airing the Bernie Sanders rally last night.”

And I hope that someone is working on to circulating the disgusting opion piece on sexuality that Sanders wrote many years ago. I think it was in the 1970s.

Time declared that Trump "won Twitter" during the debate, based on data saying he picked up 60,000 new followers -- about 4 times as many as Clinton.
