U.S. military cargo planes gave 50 tons of ammunition to rebel groups overnight in northern Syria, using an air drop of 112 pallets as the first step in the Obama Administration's urgent effort to find new ways to support those groups.
Details of the air mission over Syria were confirmed by a U.S. official not authorized to speak publicly because the details have not yet been formally announced.
C-17s, accompanied by fighter escort aircraft, dropped small arms ammunition and other items like hand grenades in Hasakah province in northern Syria to a coalition of rebels groups vetted by the US, known as the Syrian Arab Coalition.
All pallets successfully were recovered by friendly forces, a U.S. official said.

"U.S. delivers 50 tons of ammunition to Syria rebel groups"
Keeps the balance of power between factions more equal and helps to continue instability in the regions of our enemies. Stability here, instability over there. It keeps them busy and out of trouble with us. That's the way to do it.

Sickening. Who could have imagined this on 9/12/2001?
A president named Hussein, ordering our homo and tranny loving military, to deliver weapons to Saudi and Gulf State funded Sunni jihadis. And these jihadis are OUR jihadis, trying to remove a secular strongman who has kept Syrian Christians safe.
A sad time in American history. I hope those SU-25s aim is true, they hit the pallets we dropped as they are surrounded by jihadis, and there are spectacular secondaries.

Naïve. Very naïve. The gulf states are no friends of ours except to those that have been bribed with their cash. They funded most of the Arab spring and AQ more than the Saudis even.
At BEST, the Gulf states enjoy using us to protect their interests. But they are not friends unless you have a very unusual definition of “friend”.
Line up with them if you want. They are among the worst over there.

The big government spending majority of our bipartisan political/regulator class ensures that--not NATO military forces. They're our political, business and academic so-called "leaders."

They advocate for the meanest, most dishonest and incompetent socialist political candidates for offices. They advocate for genocide against all of those now unemployed from our formerly healthy private sector. They're students of Mussolini and Hitler, doing no useful work in their overpaid offices.

ROTFLMAO!
Do you believe in Unicorns and Keebler Elves too?
They are supporting ISIS trying to overthrow Assad for a Natural Gas Pipeline.
The war in Syria has NOTHING to do with freedom like the lying politicians and media tells the public. Its all about Energy to Europe. Primarily Natural Gas
.
Saudi Arabia attempted to buy a Natural Gas Pipeline that Assad of Syria refused to sell them. Saudi Arabia had been trying since around 2007 more or less, and they were not successful. Hence, Al-Qaeda (Saudi Arabias Proxy Army. Just like the French Foreign Legion is the Proxy Army for France) attacked Syria. Oh and they went under the bogus name of the Free Syrian Arm. Our media made Assad into the next bogyman. Certainly Assad is no Angel, but compared to ISIS he is like Mother Teresa. At least Assad was not chopping babies heads off, raping women and children and LITERALLY eating the hearts of their victims! (Ill spare you the disgusting photos of these drugged up Savages. Supposedly they are on PCP and coked up). The media showed us the lighter stuff of beheadings and massacres that were reminiscent of the Holocaust during the second World War. Which freaks out the public. Here are few links about what Im talking about. There are many more, but this should give you an idea.

http://ftmdaily.com/what-jerry-thinks/whysyria/
As far as Im concerned these lunatics are Demons that need to be eradicated from the planet. Every day thousands of Russians are pouring into Syria. I read the Russian special forces the Spetsnaz have a mission to terrorize ISIS. Good! Its about time. Newton was correct when he said for every reaction there is an equal and opposite reaction. The Pendulum is certainly swinging the other way.

To summarize everything. Right now there is global struggle on who is going to lead the planet. The main players are China, Russia, Western Europe and the United States. The battlefield is the Middle East. IMO there are no good guys.

Since Obama won't held the Kurds, there is an opening for Putin to offer aid and supply weapons directly. Coordinated military actin between the Russians and the Kurds would probably be very effective against ISIS and give the Russians another Middle Eastern ally.
