Donald Trump, House Speaker Needs To Be Tougher

Donald Trump said Friday he does not want to get overly involved in the ongoing battle for the House Speaker’s seat, but he does believe a “very much tougher voice” is needed.

“There’s so many things the Republicans could do if they knew how to negotiate and had some unity,” Mr. Trump said in a TV interview Friday. “So many times you’ll have people out there but they have no backing from the rest of the party.”

Mr. Trump did not have any names he wanted to suggest Friday to replace current House Speaker John Boehner, who announced his resignation last month.

“There seems to be a little bit of unification around Paul Ryan, who is a good guy but I would say that I have 4 or 5 people that I would have in mind that are tough people that a lot of people would not be thinking of,” Donald Trump said. “I don’t think they would have much of a chance but I think they would do a good job.” But he said he does not see the chaos in the House as a huge issue for the GOP presidential race.

“I think that we are who we are, we are out campaigning. There are now 16 of us left. That’s a lot of people with one left and another one is going to be leaving pretty soon from what I hear and probably a lot will be leaving soon but we’re a little bit on our own. We are in our own orbit.”

He thinks that Sen. Rand Paul (KY) will be out of the race soon.

“I think he has to go back to the people of Kentucky,” he said. “I think they’re not being treated fairly by him and he’s going to have to do one thing or the other. I don’t think it’s fair to the people of Kentucky. A great state and great people. I don’t think it’s fair to them.”

But Donald Trump said he does know one thing for sure, the person leaving the race is not  him.

“I’m never getting out,” he said.

Exactly right about Pelosi. It didn’t hurt that she could keep any potential bouts of uncontrollable weeping under control, either.

You don’t have the support of the majority of the American people. Your squishy globalist issues ARE NOT our issues. You have no alliegiance to the Constitution of the United States of America. Trump is not even President yet and he owns the Presidential Bully Pulpit already. Please move to North Korea, where you can live under the type of government you seek to establish in US. 👹

Oh he who voted for TPA and gave the tin pot dictator more powers? With the exception of Senator Tom Cotton, senate Pukes all voted to against the Constitution so that Obama could pass the Iran deal. That includes Cruz. The milk is spilt, no going back. Cruz is against it now, that he can’ do a darn thing about it.

For this he will not be voted president in 2016. He must do penance.

That is what you think.

Seems the Speaker job is different from both democracy and representation. Democracy means more representatives can have more say.

You can support who you like. You trash my candidate, you trash me! Remember what Thumper said: “If you can’t say something nice don’t say anything at all!” Best you mirror your candidate’s behavior. You can say how you think your candidate is best, all the positions he supports, what he’d do etc. - just don’t BS trash my candidate. Argue against his positions etc. Just no BS lies and slander, cause then you don’t represent the ideals of your guy. 👹

Trump will NEVER be Speaker.
He wins the Presidency, or he goes back to his businesses.
