Thursday, commenting on the news that House Majority Leader Rep. Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) has dropped out of the race to become speaker, press secretary Josh Earnest said the next speaker will have to, “tame the forces” of the “extreme ideologues” in the Republican Party.

I love it when the far left attempts to tell us how to select our next speaker. Especially when his boss only represents roughly half of the American citizenry.

Well, the WH considers the Constitution a ‘charter of negative liberties’. So anyone who believes the Constitution is the document to which the government should adhere looks like an ‘Extreme Ideologue’ to them.

It’s a funny thing. My politics haven’t changed much since I was in my twenties.The ideas and beliefs I had then, and now, used to be mainstream. When I voted twice for Reagan no one thought I was a rabid ideologue.
