In Rare Interview, Matt Drudge Issues Major (no guns) Challenge to Obama and Hillary: ‘I Dare You!’

Matt Drudge issued a dare to President Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton Tuesday, during a rare radio interview with Alex Jones.

Drudge was responding to Jones asserting that a civil war may ensue if politicians attempt to confiscate guns.

“Well, because they are all armed themselves. Where they all have that security around them themselves. They don’t have to worry about [security],” said Drudge, who refused to be on camera.

“I challenge Hillary, take away your Secret Service. Take it away now! Take away your Secret Service! Dismiss them. Have no security around you. Have no guns around you, Hillary. I dare you! I dare you,” the Internet-news mogul said. “Obama, same thing. Drop your guns Obama. Take your Secret Service away, Obama. Take it all away. Leave the White House unguarded, Obama. Let everyone know there are no guns on the White House grounds Obama!”

Yes, I agree. Make the area withing 100 yards of Hillary and Obama continuous “gun free Zones!” This is an absolutely brilliant idea.

All political problems would be resolved within 30 days of such a proclamation..........but wait, wait!

Hillary and Obama consider themselves better than the People, and therefore worthy of gun zone “protection” when in fact , the People are not? Sorry I forgot myself there for a moment.......

It’s good to hear Matt Drudge. It would be nice to see him too. Maybe he’s grown to loathe the camera, having been in the news business for years.

This thought came to mind:
LINK: Rosie, Selleck Clash

YOUTUBE LINK: Rosie clashes with ....

Rosie O'Donnell said she wanted a peaceful discussion about gun control when actor Tom Selleck came on her show Wednesday. It didn't work out that way. The actor, who has filmed a commercial for the National Rifle Association, got into a heated 10-minute debate with Rosie, a frequent critic of the NRA since the Columbine High School massacre. Selleck, 54, said he believed gun control legislation wouldn't have done anything to prevent the tragedy and that it would be wrong to legislate against guns during a period of national mourning. When O'Donnell, 37, complained about NRA opposition to efforts to ban assault weapons, Selleck said he couldn't speak for the organization. That was when the argument flared up:

"You can't say, 'I will not take responsibility for anything the NRA represents' if you're doing an ad for the NRA," said Rosie (who referred to Selleck as "Mr. NRA"). "You can't say that. Do you think you can?" Selleck said it was "an act of moral vanity" for O'Donnell to assume that someone who disagrees with her cares any less about gun control. "I didn't come on your show to have a debate," he said. "I came on your show to plug a movie ('The Love Letter'). That's what I'm doing here. If you think it's proper to have a debate about the NRA, I'm trying to be fair with you. This is absurd."

An exasperated Selleck looked out on the silent audience. "It's certainly entertaining," he said. "Look at the audience, laughing and having a great old time." "It's a serious subject," Rosie shot back. "I don't think it's something to laugh about."

Conceding the debate hadn't gone well, O'Donnell apologized to Selleck, saying she wasn't making a personal attack. Selleck, looking down at the floor, didn't accept it. "It's your show," he said, "and you can talk about it after I leave." Selleck left the set before the next segment.

Later that same day, Selleck taped "The Late Show" with David Letterman. Topic of discussion: farming avocados.

The following days it was brought up numerous times that it was a shame Tom Selleck did not bring up the subject of Rosie’s employment of numerous armed bodyguards.

A thirty-year-old Hispanic woman, mother of two is riding the subway through the Bronx on her way home after an extended shift as night nurse at 2 AM.

Simultaneously, the mayor of New York is departing a soirée accompanied by many bodyguards, all of whom are armed. One is deprived of self-defense and the other is afforded multiple layers of defense, all paid for by the taxpayers.

Is this not yet another example of the establishment against the people? It is very difficult to get a license to carry in New York, unless you are a celebrity or a multimillionaire. The poor night nurse is left defenseless. Have we not seen in New York the same scenario we see on a broader level of application in Washington DC?

Is our government not governing against us on behalf of a favored class?

Thirty minutes or so discussing politics and the Internet but not one word about the economy. Hmmm. Sounds like the “corporate interests” are controlling Alex and Matt, too.

While at the Clinton Impeachment rally in DC in 1998, I was standing next to some guy in an old fedora and we were having a fairly innocuous conversation about my upcoming retirement from the military.

I introduced myself at the end of the conversation and discovered I had been talking to Mr. Drudge. The problem was that I really did not know exactly who he was till I looked it up later.

A very low key and unassuming person.

and thats exactly it...same as free healthcare..its only about control, they tell you what to eat, what not to eat...these are the same people when i was growing up telling everyone margerine was far better for you then butter...thats the same margerine filled with transfats by the way...its control, plain and simple.

also telling hilary to not arm will be responded in the following way..

becasue all ye ntters are armed they have to be, so if there was no guns they would not need so much armed protection...so you see...its your fault they need protection...and big bad guns

to a liberal you , yes YOU...is the sole reasons with everything wrong with America and the world. YOU are responsible. trying to appease them wont matter, you are still you...and YOU are the reason for all the pain in the world.

Same story with all democrat ideas.. No ...fill in the blank... For thee, but all for me. Doesn’t matter if it’s guns, fossil fuels, or anything else they want to ban. The children of power are protected, the children of the people are sitting in victim zones. Let’s start with their families and see if they are so willing.

Sidwell Friends School in D.C. where the political elites send their kids...bet an armed crazy would not even get on the property; much less inside the school. Let’s have a discussion about the security available to the children of the Nomenklatura.

Hillary should jump at the chance to drop her security detail since she detests them so much.
