Drive-By Narrative: Trump to Drop Out When He Falls in the Polls
Rush Limbaugh.com ^ | October 5, 2015 | Rush Limbaugh

RUSH: The Drive-By Media's got it in its head that it's over, Trump's finished, and he's gonna drop out at some point. Even though he's still leading in every poll, they've assumed a position here that there is an inevitability to Trump dropping out. It's just gonna happen. They thought it would happen by now. They've tried to make it happen by now and before today, but it hasn't. So they're just assuming that it hasn't happened, and that has become the narrative surrounding the Trump campaign. In fact, they're even getting Trump to talk about it.

You know, Trump says (imitating Trump), "Hey, look, you know, if I do get out of this, you know what's gonna happen? The entire Republican presidential campaign is going to collapse." The people that write about this are incredulous. I think it's at Politico or New York Times, I'm not sure which, they just can't believe the guy's ego. Trump said if he gets out -- and this just feeds the monster. I think he's toying with them. If he gets out, you know what's gonna happen? The entire Republican campaign is going to implode. There won't be one. The excitement will vanish. There won't be any interest in it. There won't be any reason for anybody to continue following it. There will be a couple of TV networks that fold because with Trump removing himself from the campaign, their ratings will go south so far that nobody will be watching some of these networks. So he's tweaking them in his own way, given their new narrative that it's inevitable that he is going to drop out.

Trump is getting better every day and his rallies are getting better and the crowds are huge and fired up. Trump isn’t a quitter and he’s not going to drop out. If anything, he will continue to get stronger and get more support. The Elites and MSM can take their polls and go pound sand, IMO.

Well, let us hope he drops in the process polls then.

We do not need more radical liberals like his sister on the Supreme Court

The press is like a puppy that’s not house trained. They need to have their nose rubbed in their own crap to get the message.

I don’t know if he’ll go the distance or not, but one thing I know for sure: the MSM predicting his fall and trying to help it will only make him stronger. If he falls, it will be after the MSM acknowledges that he’s for real.

Ditto the GOP e.

He should never say that polls will decide if he drops out because they will be sure his polls will plunge then. Surely he is smarter than that.

The “Trump implosion” has been a article of faith for the GOPe since he started. Do those clowns really think the 25-35% supporting him are going do disappear? Abducted by aliens maybe? They are pathetically clutching at straws trying to convince themselves their jobs are safe.

Trump's verbatim quote was “...[But] if that changed, if I was like some of these people at 1 percent and 2 percent, there’s no reason to continue forward..."

You know and I know that there's no way Trump will ever drop to "1 percent or 2 percent" but obviously the media is trying to spin it that Trump will drop out if there is any drop in the polls at all.

“Trump’s finished, and he’s gonna drop out at some point.

The TDS FReaks have been saying this here for several weeks, boosting his ratings.

The latest media meme.

“Who Benefits If Trump Exits 2016 Race? - MSN.com”

“First Read: Who Benefits if Trump Exits 2016 Race?
NBCNews.com”

And these clowns run polls? Trump should take it all the way since they are a very dishonest bunch.

This is just a mantra they want everyone repeating.

If we all say it often enough then it will come true.

The support he has now is due to his stances. Peoples’ favorable support for those stances will only grow.
