During an October 1 appearance on CNN’s Newroom, former US Marshal Art Roderick said the gunman at Oregon’s Umpqua Community College probably chose his target by knowing it was as gun free-zone and therefore “an easy target.”
Roderick’s exact words: “[The gunman] probably knew that the facility was a gun free facility, [which is] an easy target for these kinds of coward individuals. They know they’re not going to get any response unless they happen to run into security or a campus police officer.”
Roderick went on to explain that the key for investigators right now is ascertaining the gunman’s motive and figuring out how he got his weapon(s).
On August 2 Breitbart News reported that eight attacks with firearms in gun free zones in the last eight years resulted in the lost of 105 lives and the wounding of 150 others. Those attacks were on the Lafayette Grand Theater (July 23), Chattanooga (July 16), Fort Hood (April 2, 2014), DC Navy Yard (September 16, 2013), Sandy Hook Elementary (December 14, 2012), Aurora movie theater (July 12, 2012), Fort Hood (November 5, 2009), and Virginia Tech (April 16, 2007)

I was listening to one of the online news stations in Or this PM. They had on a SWAT member from Colorado. They asked about guns and he said I am a strong supporter of concealed carry. You could almost hear a pin drop.
Later on another news station the report about the gunman killer POS asking the students what religion they belonged to before shooting, it was like the volume went to low gain as the air went out of the room....”moving right along to another caller”.

The Umpqua Community College shooting may started in Professor Larry Levine’s class
A professor, Amy Fair, who taught in a class that shares a common wall with where the shooting began posted about it on her Facebook wall. She said that a veteran in her class helped get students out of Snyder hall, but then he ran back inside and she’s worried about him.

There’s about a zillion videos on Youtube on how to make a flamethrower not to mention all the websites that show how. After this shooting, no doubt liberals and the Kenyan in the White house who is currently hellbent on assisting Islamo-Nazis obtain nuclear weapons, will once again talk about disarming the law abiding American citizen because of it. Would they prefer psychopaths use those flamethrowers instead, mass burning people alive, or will they finally come to the sane realization that only thing that works against lethal offense is lethal defense?
