No, pundits, Hillary Clinton isn't collapsing
Los Angeles Times ^ | 09/28/2015 | Joe Trippi

Posted on 09/28/2015 8:27:23 AM PDT by SeekAndFind

Has the political punditry class lost its collective mind?

In a year in which every other supposed front-runner and establishment candidate has collapsed to single digits or has already withdrawn from the race — yes, I am talking about you, Jeb Bush, and you, Scott Walker — Hillary Rodham Clinton continues to lead the Democratic field with more than 40% of the vote. Can Bernie Sanders, who is 15 points behind her in recent polling, represent a real threat to her nomination? No. Hell no. Not a chance. But pundits keep asking the question without pointing out the obvious answer.

And given the fact that no vice president who has sought his party's nomination has ever been denied it, you would think Clinton's 20-point lead over Joe Biden would be seen as a remarkable sign of strength. Instead, when pundits mention Clinton's lead over the vice president, they always follow up with the fact that Biden has yet to enter officially — and rarely caution that he may never enter it and that even if he does, he'll start 20 points behind.

When has anyone been so strong that he or she led a sitting vice president by 20 points? Does the punditry really think it's because he hasn't announced yet?

Was the private server a mistake? Yes. Have questions about Clinton's emails hurt her? Of course. Has her campaign been clumsy and mishandled the situation? No doubt. But there should also be no doubt that Clinton remains a formidable front-runner who will be tough to beat even if Biden enters the race. And she'll be formidable in the general election too

If the GOP wasn't convinced that she could block their path to the White House in 2016, they wouldn't be trying so hard to stop her right now.

"When has anyone been so strong that he or she led a sitting vice president by 20 points?"

Whistling past the graveyard. If the "sitting president" being referred to is Osama bin bama, it's not hard to figure out. ANYBODY short of Jack the Ripper could be 20 points ahead.

The fact Clinton's lead over the entire democrat field was 50-60 pts two months ago, and has now shrunk to 7 vs. a 73-year-old NE socialist and to 20 points over an unannounced potential candidate would be be seen as a remarkable sign of weakness. But facts escape you, don't they, Joe?

Was the private server a mistake?

Mistake? Mistake?? As in I misspelled the word treason, kind of mistake?

This wasn't a "mistake" this was criminal. People have gone to jail for far less. People died as a result of Clinton's inactions and subsequent cover up/lying about Benghazi.

Yeah, with the Clintons it's always a "slip up", a "mistake" that he or she has exacerbated simply by handling the aftermath in a politically clumsy manner. Are you kidding me? In a just world both Clintons would either have long been executed like the Rosenbergs.

Since we know there was Top Secret data on her unsecured server, we also know the following:

Somebody downloaded Top Secret data from the Secure system.
They then stripped the Classification markings from the data.
They then uploaded this data to an unsecured system.
Then they e-mailed the data to Hillary.

Each of these is a Felony.
Nobody would do this without direction from Hillary.
Hillary and the facilitating party belong in jail.

Democratic polls

Look at the chart in the above link. Sanders is likely to win the DNC popular vote, unless Hillary's scandals dry up.

But the question is can he loosen Hillary's hold on the superdelegates. Because with out those the DNC popular vote doesn't mean squat.

And of course there is the question of whether Biden can be persuaded to run even though he faces certain defeat against Trump. And if he does run, can Biden loosen Hillary's hold on the superdelegates?

And will there be enough popcorn for the democrat throwdown?

Herself, Madame Benghazi, the Cold & Joyless, may not be allowed to collapse. With a “benevolent” Department of Justice at Herself’s back, there shall be no Federal level prosecution during the reign of the Current Regime. No prosecution = no harm = no fault.

Herself may not be Slick, but the persistent immunity still is effective, even years later.

Herself shall just have to be defeated at the ballot box (I know, a daunting task in itself), which requires both a much more electable opponent being nominated by the Republicans (with or without the consent of the Establishment), and an early and preemptive strike to reduce and degrade the potential for vote fraud, everywhere. It may be valuable to give up a few states which are for whatever inscrutable reason, still determined to go “blue” no matter what, and concentrate on those states where there is a distinct tinge of purple.

A Nightmare Scenario

The Hillary Clinton campaign continues in a downward spiral. So, the Democratic Party is attempting to orchestrate behind closed doors the following scenario:

The Facts:

· Obama can run as Vice President on the Biden-Obama ticket in 2016, but Obama cannot be “elected” for a 3rd term as President.

· Obama can assume the Presidency if Biden dies or resigns at any time after the inauguration. Obama would become President because he would not be “elected” to the office.

· Joe Biden was born November 20, 1942, and he will be 74 prior to the inauguration in January 2017.

· Obama can retain control over the Democratic party and its funds until 2020.

· A Biden-Obama ticket can win in 2016 if the Dem loyalties are unified and the Republican loyalties are split.

Why does this matter:
1. The Democrats would retain control of the government bureaucracy until 2020

2. The Democrats would retain Veto power over the Congress

3. The Democrats wouldretain control of the Attorney General’s office and define what is prosecuted and what is not.

4. The Democrats would retain control over the appointments of Federal judges

5. The Democrats would be in a position to replace up to 2 or 3 of the Supreme Court Justices.

6. The Democrats would use Executive Orders to make temporary laws and protect progressive principles.

7. The Democrats would protect Obamacare, EPA overreach, progressive moves to socialism, disintegration of the military, illegal immigration, deficit spending, etc.

8. The President would pardon all of the Democrats who could be prosecuted if a Republican is elected later.

9. The Federal bureaucracy would be used to further Democrats ideals, ability to stay in power, and stifle opposing movements.

Scary.. we must be united going into the presidential election and not let this happen regardless of who the Republican nominee is.

Its as if we are all pretending the GOP is running against an incumbent. Late night comics joke about how big the GOP field is, and news pundits discuss the latest GOP debate.

But the ‘race’ doesn’t seem to have begun on the Rat side.

Coronation.

Obama cannot be elected as Vice President. No person ineligible to the office of President is eligible to the office of Vice President. Twelfth Amendment to the US Constitution.

Obama's plan is probably to have Biden run with Warren or with a black male politician (Deval Patrick or Cory Booker)...but only because Valerie Jarrett would mean certain defeat if she was on the ticket.
