Nigeria: Larger Population Than All of Europe?
Globalist ^ | 18 September 2015

Posted on 09/20/2015 4:49:32 PM PDT by Lorianne

1. Nigeria’s current population of 182 million is only one-quarter the size of Europe’s 738 million people.

2. By 2100, Nigeria’s population of 752 million by itself will exceed that of Europe’s 48 countries by about 107 million.

3. The growth in Nigeria’s population over the rest of this century alone — at 570 million — exceeds the combined populations of Europe’s thirteen largest countries

4. They are Russia, Germany, United Kingdom, France, Italy, Spain, Ukraine, Poland, Romania, Netherlands, Belgium, Greece and the Czech Republic.

This assumes ebola and other diseases do not decimate sub-saharan Africa due to terrible ignorance and hygiene.

And the people who cherry picked data, extrapolated trends, and forgot about infant mortality prove that this particular website is worthless. Maybe they can gets jobs interpreting global temperature data for NASA.

They get all these weird diseases because a)they’re filthy people in general and b) it seems that God has cursed them and doesn’t bother with them.

The writer is a moron.
He marks a few points of a graph and assumes the future will match the curve or slope from the figure revealed. Doesn’t work that way...

Nigeria’s population will only continue to grow if the population manages to produce enough of value to be able to feed themselves.

Having traveled in Africa...several times...and having seen far more than I wanted to see I find the prospect of the population of that continent tripling (or quadrupling) more disturbing than words can describe.

Have you ever been to China? Or India? I have.As a result I know that things don't always work out as you've described.

It’s extremely unreliable to extrapolate the entire population based on the number of widows of former finance ministers. :=)

Assuming their birth rate will be the same in 85 years, is almost like assuming that Europe has the same birthrate as 85 years ago.

Birthrates drop all around the world, as countries develop.

Death rates are also likely to change a lot, even in the next 20-30 years, due to technology.

Projecting current trends out 10 years is unreliable - out 85 years is pure fantasy.

Africa To Record Largest Population Growth Over Next 40 Years

"By the year 2050, the report states Africa's population is likely to grow by a staggering 1.3 billion people -- the largest growth of any region in the world, including Asia, which currently has about 60 percent of people on the planet."

Presently, Nigeria is the richest country in Africa, in 20 years their population is forecasted to exceed the population of the USA.

In the last year or two, I read reports that the average Nigerian spends 65% of their income on food...another report said 80%.

WHERE DO YOU THINK THESE PEOPLE WILL GO?

And the West is hellbent on letting the third world drag us down along with it. We’re all doomed.

Nigeria doesn’t have the resources to feed that size population, so it’s not going to happen.

But Lucy, Nigerians are always coming across large sums of money and all they want to do is share it with us ...

“In the last year or two, I read reports that the average Nigerian spends 65% of their income on food...another report said 80%.”

With real food price inflation in the US running 7-8% per year while average household incomes are declining 5% it won’t be long before many Americans are spending half or more of their income on food.

“WHERE DO YOU THINK THESE PEOPLE WILL GO?”

If they hurried up colonising Mars, we could send them there.

Failing that, I’m all for sending them to Antarctica, that’s a big place, that could accommodate them and the Polar Bears would be kept happy....
