One America News Network, OAN, a credible source for 24/7 national and international news, announces its national post-debate poll taken immediately after Wednesday nights GOP Debate at the Ronald Reagan Library. Carly Fiorina jumps to first place at 22 percent, tied with Donald Trump. OANs previous national poll, conducted on September 3-4, showed the former HP top executive in seventh place with 2.7%. Marco Rubio lands in the third spot with 15 percent. The U.S. Senator from Florida ranked third in OANs early September poll with 12 percent, a three point gain for Rubio. Rounding out the top five are Dr. Ben Carson at 12 percent followed by Ted Cruz and Jeb Bush tied at 6 percent. Bush drops nearly half his early September support of 11.4 percent to a post-debate 6 percent.

Thirty-three percent of GOP voters polled believed that Fiorina won the debate, the highest of any GOP Candidate. Trump came in second with 21 percent.

The poll, conducted exclusively for One America News Network by Gravis Marketing, a nonpartisan research firm, sampled a random survey of 1,337 registered Republican voters across the U.S....The poll has a margin of error of ± 3%.
If the election for President were held today, which GOP candidate would you vote for?

It's beginning to look like the Trump candidacy may elect the Dem candidate whether or not he gets the nomination. If he doesn't get the nomination, his supporters will stay home. If he does, the supporters of all of the candidates he has insulted will stay home...
A reasonable result for now.
Wasn’t it three days before the media released a poll on the first debate- the one Trump won hands down- while the media spent three days saying he lost?
Anyway: “Welcome to the party” Carly, as John McLame(?) said in Die Hard.
I’m glad you take this seriously. You also took seriously the 50+ state level and national polls that had Trump leading, right? Just want to make sure we take all polls seriously.
Ping to you on my last...
But on Twitter, they are positively orgasming---especially the NRO crowd, because they think they finally have someone who can take down The Donald. (They forget that Carson, who was coming close, just got crushed in that debate and will drop like a rock).
He’s polarizing, a love-hate candidate. When he first started the polling showed he had high negatives, many who would never vote for him. Then the numbers seemed to get better, but last night looks like a swing back towards that same problem.
It’s a great poll, limited to registered Republicans and with far over 1,000 voters. And they got it done fast to get a fresh reaction to the debate. Some of these polls people have been referencing in recent weeks have only like 300 respondents. This is one of the better ones statistically that I’ve seen recently.
Last I checked Karl Rove doesn’t support Ted Cruz or the TV network that gave Sarah Palin her own show. So, no, I’m not a Rove-bot.
Thnx

Since Donald Trump’s argument has been “Vote for me because I’m ahead”, what is his argument now?
Nailed ya
Trump took a few hits...but so did Fiorina. IN fact, most of them took some hits...but also had some good points.
I felt Cruz was the most Presidential of the group...but he just did not get much time...and he was not involved in the slug fests either.
The Drudge poll had over 672,000 people participate. It had Trump winning going away. sure, if you go into some kind of "debate rules," and try and look at it clinically, you may say different...but people do not vote that way.
Here's the full results of the Drudge poll:
Name-----Votes---Percent
Trump---342,261--50.93%
Fiorina-152,087--22.63%
Rubio----43,915--6.53%
Cruz-----40,687--6.05%
Paul-----29,333--4.36%
Carson---28,171--4.19%
Christie--9,264--1.38%
Kasich----8,577--1.28%
Bush------8,363--1.24%
Walker----5,225--0.78%
Huckabee--4,128--0.61%
Total---672,011
I simply did not see it...Fiorina tying Trump or catching up to him. Sure she gained...but I think it will be fleeting, and not even close to catching Trump.
I want Cruz hands down...but Cruz is also playing the entire Trump phenomena wisely. He has not attacked Trump at all...in fact he has done events together with Trump.
If Trump implodes (which looks less and less likely IMHO) his supporters are going to need somewhere to go. Right now that looks to me like Cruz.
If Trump gets the nomination, he is going to be looking for a VP...and right now, Cruz is positioned for that.
Could you imagine 8 years of Trump followed by eight years of Cruz?
His argument was a yuge wall if you’d been paying attention.
That makes sense to whom?
Gravitas is the crappy research company that does cheap push polling .
The RNC elites use this fifth tier firm all the time to justify Amnesty or push a crummy bought off hack like Carly
We see their lame push polls all the time .
Since Cruz is a Trump ally so your excuse is beyond tired.
I support Cruz is always used as the fall back smoke screen for the Bush - walker - Rubio posters.
I knew you trolls would be out pushing
Thanks, Jeff Head.
Sounds Hugh and series to me...
Watching Bret’s show on FNC now. Panel is really down on Trump.
