Sergeant Melissa Ruch of the West Penn Township Police Department is recovering from her injuries this morning after she was reportedly attacked by a motorist after she stopped to assist a disabled vehicle.
Apparently, this thug first slashed Sergeant Ruch’s shirt and then threw her over a guardrail during the attack:
Sergeant Ruch was then airlifted to the hospital:
A PennSTAR helicopter landed on a field at the intersection of SR309 and SR895 to transport officer Ruch to Lehigh Valley at Cedar Crest.

“Her shirt is like sliced from–we don’t know what it’s sliced yet from,” said Trooper David Boehm. “The person that we’re looking for is a Hispanic male, 6’2″ to 6’4″, 240 to 260 pounds. He was wearing a black t-shirt and blue jeans, the kind that go way down below your knees and possibly in a dark colored Nissan Maxima.”

All of these hazardous occupations are great for women, until there’s an actual hazard.
Hate on me if you want, but I believe women should be offered at least a modicum of protection. And putting them in harm’s way is not very protective.
I do not know what is in the hearts of other Caucasians. I sometimes wistfully hope that some thug tries to attack me simply because all lives matter.....except the thug who tries to attack.

Don’t forget to thank Obama/Holder/Sharpton for setting race into a war.
Closer ever closer comes the Social War. It has to be as whites we cannot live in peace and harmony with the black. These assaults by blacks on police are occurring weekly. There are riots and constant black cries for taxpayer money and taxpayer supported “Programs.”
I saw one report where they said the man was a “tanned” white man.

I agree with you, not to mention the insane ‘cops who are moms’ for so egregiously risking their lives while “RAISING (NOT)” their children.
Hispanics can be of any race. There are black Hispanics and white Hispanics and mixed.
They are going to have to begin putting two cops into every vehicle and not sending them out alone anymore. This will cut way way back on response time but it is necessary
