Former House Majority Leader Eric Cantor endorsed former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush this week and has agreed to become co-chair of Jebs Virginia effort.
Oh the irony!
CNN reported that Cantor said of Jeb:
Governor Bush is a true conservative leader with a long-term vision for this country and the practical know-how to implement it. After eight years of anemic growth and declining international relevance, America needs a president that can re-energize our nation and recapture our greatness -- Jeb Bush is that man. I look forward to working closely with the governor and his team as they chart a course to the White House.
Dont forget that Cantor suffered the most humiliating loss of the last election cycle when he was beaten by little known Tea Party candidate Rep. Dave Brat (R-VA).
Cantor was so eager to escape his leadership slot after his humiliating loss that he high-tailed it to a cushy $3.4 million gig on Wall Street with the investment bank Moelis and Co. four months early. He quit his seat early in Virginia to cash out on Wall Street, yet to Jeb Bush, it seems like a good idea to hire him to run an election in Virginia.

Just the one to be on Jeb’s side...
Utterly denounced RINO House leader endorses an utter fool. Utterly fantastic.
Speaking as a Virginian, I welcome Can’t-whore joining the jebito campaign.
Heh heh heh.
Jeb is making W look like a rocket scientist.
If anyone is not familiar with why this is such a big deal (Cantor losing to Brat & now endorsing Jeb), here’s a good article that summarizes what went on rather well. Identifying himself with Cantor is one of the absolute worst things Jeb could have done around here .... of course he wants Cantor’s money connections, but money did not matter in the Brat/Cantor election because “the folks” were pissed off, fed up and were ready to do something about an establishment/elite politician (sound familiar?).

“Just the one to be on Jebs side...”
Jeb and Cantor know if Jeb’s the nominee he’ll lose in Virginia.
I was posting signs about the weasel Eric Can’tor/won’t all over our district before Dave Brat announced to wake people up to what a weasel he was.
Eric Can’tor/won’t couldn’t/wouldn’t oppose amnesty (even as he lied to us in campaign mailings) because he had sold his soul to the Cheap Labor Express long ago.
¡Yeb! is The Cheap Labor Express candidate for President.
If you want the USA to be turned into North Mexico, he’s your man.
Does Cantor really believe the very Virginians who turned him out of office will listen to him about anything political?
I can not decide if it is hubris or ignorance on his part.
Either way, just one more of the thousand cuts that doom JEB.
The sole reason to support Trump is because he’s the only one who can dethrone Bush.
In the general election, certainly. But in the Virginia primary, Cantor will help make sure that Jeb's name will be the only one that appears on the GOP ballot, just like Willard's was the only one in 2012.
Brings back GREAT MEMORIES of that primary night in June, 2014. I still call that the happiest moment of my life (and I’ve had a very happy personal life), as it bought us time to start uprooting the PURE ROT at the top of the GOP...and for Trump to have a chance to turn this re-population effort around.
It’s nice to have kids...but if you don’t leave them a country to live in, you’ve failed as a parent.
Oh, that was a fun night wasn’t it! I was the one who posted the Cantor Loses article that let everyone know it was official.
“I was the one who posted the Cantor Loses article that let everyone know it was official.”
You certainly were.

“I absolutely love posting this!!!”
I was smiling for a week afterwards.
I really thought more districts would Cantorize their weasels like we did ours.
We showed America how term limits are in the hands of voters if only we would exercise them.
