Univision anchor: Trump fight is 'personal' (Dual Citizenship Jorge)
The Hill ^ | 08/26/2015 | Mark Hensch

Posted on 08/26/2015 10:59:44 AM PDT by Kid Shelleen

Univision anchor Jorge Ramos said on Wednesday that he is offended by GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump’s rhetoric concerning immigration. Ramos added that he wants an interview with the outspoken billionaire so he can challenge his policy stances over the issue. “This is very important to the Hispanic community,” he told host Chris Cuomo on CNN’s “New Day.” “This is also personal.

“It is extreme what he is saying about immigrants in this country,” added Ramos, who has dual citizenship with both the U.S. and Mexico. “This is not just his country. It is our country, too.”

We need to eliminate the dual citizenship option.
Pick your citizenship and disavow allegiance to the other.

>>It used to be that you had to choose one or the other upon one’s attaining majority.

That was decades ago.<<

It isn’t so much dual citizenship as each country (theoretically) ignores the other citizenship.

He’s offended because he is mexican first.

His status as dual citizen says it all - means at best he has divided allegiance.

His actions highlight the problem with allowing dual citizenships - when it comes to defending the US against the mexican invasion, he sides with the invaders.

I think it was great that Trump caught his behavior on camera. Its called "rope a dope". PLUS now Jorge finally admits it personal. That should be grounds for Univision to fire him.
All GOP candidates should demand his resignation.

It would be a perfect opportunity for him to discuss illegal immigration. They should meet in a neutral location.

We certainly have the right to be angry when Dems and GPOes are pandering to the illegals by offering them our tax dollars for cheap labor or votes. OPM — Other Peoples Money. Let me repeat: it is the American taxpayer who are paying the bills. And Trump touches on this very important point.

Hey Jorge...you got some 'splainin' to do. I've heard that as many as 75 million of your countrymen have come here in the last 40 years. We've been told they have to come to support their families, to escape corruption and violence...in effect, refugees.

I think that makes Meheeco a failed state. What do you suppose we go in there, strictly for humanitarian reasons, knock some heads together and clean things up?

What say you, Jorge?

Just based on Trump’s attitude yesterday, I would think he would not have a problem being interviewed by George.

“This is not just his country. It is our country, too.”

A country is defined by its citizens. While WhoreGay may be a citizen he should have to choose between his Mexican and American citizenships. I believe we have another citizenship issue. Dual citizenship should no longer be allowed. Total allegiance to America should be required going forward. Ted Cruz voluntarily decided wisely a few years ago. In the future it should be a required choice. Either you choose to renounce your other citizenship or you are not allowed American citizenship.

Until there is total allegiance you cannot say America is your country, because.either you are American or you are not.

Whore-hay is confused. He thought millions of mexicans flooding into the US, without documention, was a legal invasion.

“dual citizenship”= dual loyalty
“I’m loyal to two different countries.”
Loyalty is faithfulness or a devotion to a person, country, group, or cause.
Dual citizenship is an oxymoron.

I found this in a search:

The renouncing of one’s previous citizenship is part of the oath that new US citizens must take, and failing to honor that oath could result in the loss of citizenship in the United States.

The ‘personal’ to Trump is the disrespect shown to a person who is running as a national candidate for POTUS...as a person, he said he didn't know him....

AND he let him back in and took his questions, if that is what they were, and treated him with respect...

I bet the next so called journalist that thinks of trying this type of disrespect will think about what is going to happen BEFORE they are ‘disrespectful’.....

Half U.S. citizen Jorge Ramos was thrown out for being disrespectful, namely, when Trump called on a different reporter on the other side of the room, Jorge interrupted and then wouldn’t shut up. It’s as simple as that. I for one am tired of seeing the kommiemedia trying to bully candidates they don’t like and watching the candidates take their beatings like good little momma’s boys. Trump as least has the huevos to fight back. GO TRUMP!

Heck, Hillary won’t even let the press get within shouting distance of her, and that seems to be ok with the kommiemedia. Go figure.

[BTW, Jorge, you CLAIM to be a journalist, that is, one who REPORTS what’s happening; that’s not the same thing as having a “right” to “challenge” a candidate whom you disagree with. Now you’re advocating that ALL journalists denounce Trump? So, that’s YOUR idea of a “journalist”? Someone who denounces people when they’re pretending to be interviewing them? The latter is what an activist does, not a journalist. So, now at least the mask has officially been pulled away for you, namely, you are NOT actually a journalist, but an activist POSING as a journalist. AND more and more people are starting to see why the rest of us have held so-called “journalists” in such low regard for so long. Namely, most “journalists” are simply activist poseurs, and 99.99% are members of the kommiemedia. Oh, and any so-called “journalist” organization that supports Ramos’ behavior simply shows that they too are nothing but activist poseurs as well.]

Does he have a constitutional right to enhance his own stature and credibility by dragging other people down to his level and forcing them to listen to his rants?
