Donald Trump is blowing everyone else out of the water in 2 key states (Poll: NH 35% and SC 30% )

Donald Trump is dominating in two key early-primary states, according to new polls of the states released Tuesday.

A new Public Policy Polling poll of Republican primary voters in New Hampshire found that the real-estate mogul is far ahead of the competition, with 35% saying that they would vote for Trump if the primary were held today.

The closest opponent was Ohio Gov. John Kasich (R), who garnered 11%.

"This is by far the best we’ve found Donald Trump doing anywhere during his entire surge,” Dean Debnam, the president of Public Policy Polling...

The results were similar to a Monmouth University poll of South Carolina Republican primary voters, which showed Trump leading the pack with 30% of the vote. He was trailed by retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson, who clocked in at a distant second with 15%.

New Hampshire and South Carolina are the first two primary states, taking place after the first-in-the-nation Iowa caucuses. They are generally seen as crucial states...

Trump took a victory lap on Twitter following the release of the new polls. He also took a shot at Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-South Carolina), a fellow candidate with whom he has been in an ongoing feud:

Congrats @LindseyGrahamSC. You just got 4 points in your home state of SC—far better than zero nationally. You’re only 26 pts behind me. — Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) August 25, 2015

But even that theory appears to be crumbling, at least in New Hampshire.

According to the PPP poll, Trump would trounce his rivals in head-to-head matchups. The survey found that Trump beat out Carson by 8 points, Walker by 18%, Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Florida) by 19%, and Bush by 23%.

It’s why Murdoch wants Bloomberg to enter the race as a republican and combat Trump.

Trump is showing their politicians to be mere politicians.

Before Trump started pounding the illegal invader issue, Cruz accompanied Beck to the border and distributed soccer balls and teddy bears to the illegals.

Can you imagine if Trump had done that?

Hey! Hey! No way are you getting away with that kind of slanderous picture. That's very offensive.

In the real world sharks eat bears and generally don't tote guns.

I forgot about that. It was a very stupid thing for him to do.

Cruz quickly needs to develop a Warrior's mindset or he will not move up.

There is no way for Cruz to brilliantly debate his way to a win. It's sad because I had high hopes for him.

Trump is strongly connecting emotionally with the American citizens and their red-hot anger over this evil illegal invasion.

If Trump stays on top then more and more people will be tempted to move to support him, especially if he continues to stand strong on the wall and illegals.

BOL! Re your bio/home page.

I have two friends who did what you did re walking in their company parking lot and identifying cars with Biden/Obama stickers. Then firing those employees.

One closed his company when Obozo care was passed. The other, a conservative woman is still in business. She said firing the liberal users was the best thing she did for her business.

I don’t know how you can work with the Follywood liberals. I’m 76 now, when I turned fifty, I stopped talking to liberals and removing any contact with liberals in our social life. My wife finally wised up a few years ago.

Agreed. Cruz was my original choice as well. I regret to say he simply fails to communicate the urgency and primacy of the illegal invasion issue. It is, simply put, the survival of the country that is at stake. No politician who is unable to verbalize that FACT will be able to haul the country back from the brink.

It all starts with getting in front of the American people and saying, ‘This is life or death. If we don’t fix this problem immediately, all other issues are moot.’

How in the heck can “Kasick” have 11%?

As a resident of Ohio, he’s nothing more than a Boehner leftist.

Gramps - Never thought I’d say this, but I’m not bothered by the possibility that I may have to pay higher taxes under President Trump. I want our military to be feared again!

Very well stated. If only we could get Cruz to see and act on your post.

It astounds me that Cruz doesn't sense the anger that American's feel over losing their country.

The early passion and admiration I held for Cruz is nearly gone. I am starting to feel contempt for his inability pivot and to connect with the American people on the issue of this Republic destroying illegal invasion.

In his speeches Trump uses the word depot easily and repeatedly.

Cruz seems to struggle to use the word deport. It shows he is afraid to be bold.

Sad to think your analysis may be all too accurate. The sense I get is that his heart was in the teddy bears and soccer balls. No one pressured him to join Beck; it was his choice. [Initial reports said that Mike Lee would join Beck and Cruz. The denial from Lee’s office was faster than a speeding b u l l e t.]

Cruz’ heart is not in the wall and deportation. Trump dragged him to that position, and he was smart enough to embrace it. But his real passion lies elsewhere.

“But in recent years none of them were 1) Anti-GOPe, 2) this far ahead, and 3) the electorate wasn’t this pissed off!”

A billion dollars (+ contributions) to spend doesn’t hurt either.
