Has Jeb Bush parodied himself to the point of irrelevance?
American Thinker ^ | Newsmachete

Jeb Bush seems to have a self-destructive impulse. No, not the same self-destructive mechanism that causes Scott Walker to announce contradictory policy positions with the speed of a tennis ball machine, but rather the urge to express sentiments that seems to show him to be more sympathetic to illegal aliens than he is to American citizens.

This urge could first be seen with his comments that illegal immigration is an "act of love." Never mind the thousands of illegals who have taken jobs from Americans and consumed our taxpayer dollars for education and health care, and the thousands more who have committed crimes, including murder. That was extremely tone-deaf. But it was only one comment.

Now Bush has done it again. He's gone to the border, presumably to show that even he would be tough on border security. Instead, he's made headlines by saying the Asian illegal aliens, not Hispanic ones, are the real problem.

Former Florida governor Jeb Bush on Monday dismissed the controversy surrounding his use of the term “anchor baby," saying that he merely used the term to describe specific instances in which non-Americans are abusing the law to gain citizenship for their children, and that it was more of a problem among Asians.

“What I was talking about was the specific case of fraud being committed where there is organized efforts — and frankly it’s more related to Asian people — coming into our country, having children in that organized effort, taking advantage of a noble concept, which is birthright citizenship,” Bush told reporters during a press conference at Palenque Grill here in McAllen.

It's incredible. What's on the border of McAllen, Texas, Mr. Bush? Is it China? Is it Vietnam? No, it's Mexico.

Irrelevance? That would depend on whether Circuses still showcase Geeks.

I wonder how it would go over if Jeb, amplifying on his comments, said that most of our domestic criminal problems are due to blacks, not hispanics. /S

Does one have to first be relevant to become irrelevant, or is irrelevance a natural condition?

Yes and he did it to himself.

Did not even need South Park to do it as in AlGore’s case.

¡Yeb! spends half his time campaigning in a foreign language to foreigners.
He has shown his loyalty is to Mexico and Mexicans and not to America and Americans.
He wants to turn the USA into North Mexico.

The citizens of the USA want the illegal alien inundation stopped. What is referred to as immigration looks more like colonization.

In any case, it is a good thing for Mexico. If he had married an asian, it would then be a mexico-anchor-baby problem.

I suspect that deep down Jeb doesn’t really want to be President. He’s certainly not acting like he even wants to win. He’s like carrying a sign that says, “Don’t vote for me, please.” The Pubbie leadership probably has orders from the Bankers to throw the election, like McCain had.

The Int’l Bankers want the USA to be a Slave State NOW. No more waiting. Their desire to murder 90% of the human population to “save the environment” has to be carried out NOW.

Jeb need to show an act of love to Americans, not to the country he think he married to, Mexico. Remember Jeb you married a woman, not a country. Mexico is not above criticism

Jeb seems like a technocrat.

If he were not a Bush, I doubt people would bother to care WHAT he is.

Despite that, he could do ok as Florida’s Governor.

President of the United States and especially in these times, is a very different role.

I’ve been saying - his politics aside (important as they are) - I can’t see anything we need that we’ve been missing as a nation, that Jeb Bush can bring.

His latest campaign episodes serve to underscore that truth.

Has Jeb Bush parodied himself to the point of irrelevance?

Hard to tell.
Last time we checked he was still digging.

You may have to go to China to ask him...

IMHO: Jebby is the dumbest of the Bush Clan, I think that's why ‘Mama’ Bush didn't want him running...

He is exactly what we have with Boehner and McConnell, Harry Reid, Nancy, and the rest of the ‘clowns of stupidity’....

He thinks he is from a ‘Royal’ dnystany, which in America we don't have, since we are a Republic, so my suggestion to him is that if this is what he thinks he is, he should go shimmy up to the ‘Queen of England’ and just maybe she MIGHT let him walk her doggies...

There is something really wrong with Jebby, he's not firing on all cylinders, like my grandkids say, ‘he's one hamburger short of a happy meal’....

It is almost like he did not really want to be President. Deep down inside he knows he would be a disaster.

Maybe he is too nice to do the job well.
