Top Fundraiser for Scott Walker Meets With Trump - True to form Trump spins the facts

A top fundraiser for Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker's presidential campaign met with rival Donald Trump on Monday, The Wall Street Journal reports, but what happened in the meeting – and who requested it – is a matter of debate between the two parties.

Anthony Scaramucci, Walker's national finance co-chairman, told the Journal that Trump tried to get him to defect to the Trump campaign, but Scaramucci told him that wasn't going to happen.

"He wants to drop Walker and go with me," the Journal quoted Trump. "He wants to endorse me. He said, 'I want to drop Walker and endorse you.'"

"What I said to him again today is that I love him as a guy, but I’m loyal to Scott Walker," Scaramucci countered. "That does not detract from my friendship with him, but can he please stop railing on the hedge-fund industry?"

NOT!

Read what I wrote. The 18 states in your excerpt that have changed may have given it to them, but they did not include Georgia, Indiana and Arizona anywhere in the article that I see. Go look at the 4th paragraph.

http://hispanicnewsnetwork.blogspot.com/2011/06/walker-revokes-in-state-tuition-for.html

June 27, 2011 - Ashwaubenon - On Sunday, Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker (R) signed his two-year 2011-2013 budget, which included ending in-state tuition for undocumented students attending public universities and colleges. In-state tuition for undocumented students was approved two years ago by former Governor Jim Doyle (D) after the Hispanic community struggled for 10 years to pass it.....

More than 200 protestors were outside the company with signs calling Walker, “You dirty rat” and “Shame, shame.”

I don’t dispute Walker did this. But to keep saying he is the ONLY gov/state to do this is BS.

You want to change the focus. Walker (as I stated) REVOKED instate tuition for illegals upon taking office - the ONLY gov/state to do this.

Not quite. You said:

Walker’s 1st budget - signed - (6 months into his 1st term) revoked instate tuition for illegals (1st and only gov/state to do this).

This implies that his state is the only state that bars in state tuition for illegal aliens which is not true as I've indicated. To say that he did such and such upon entering office, that's a good thing. But it is not the one singular event standing alone in the fray that no one else dares do.

“As far as single-payer, it works in Canada, works incredibly well in Scotland,” Trump said during the first Republican presidential debate in early August....."

It works in Scotland under...

Scottish law!

So Walker, pimping George Will and his wife,
is now the GOPs little backstabber of real conservatives.

He should drop out.

It’s amazing to me, just amazing, how people decide who is a worthy presidential candidate.

Why the editorializing of this article?

Trump has never actually done anything. He has never held elected office or done anything except manage his inherited wealth (which was based on NYC real estate acquired by his father, who was a Scottish immigrant), make tabloid headlines by chasing Slavic babes and and sponsor trashy “reality” shows.

That’s why, like many of his fans, he reads only the headlines and feels no need to have a well grounded opinion, develop a program, etc. He blusters and lies when confronted because he knows that people who read only the headlines don’t care.

Set forth an immigration plan that has become the model for everyone else, including Walker.

No it doesn’t. I’m sorry you missed my specific mention of “revoked” but the facts are the facts.

The states you mention never had it.

You are insisting on comparing apples to oranges instead of just saying you were mistaken.

Yes. Go ahead and parse your material like the meaning of “is”. If it serves your purposes, fine. It just isn’t winning any points from what I can tell.

The highest standards of character for leadership...

1 Timothy 3

3 It is a trustworthy statement: if any man aspires to the office of overseer, it is a fine work he desires to do. 2 An overseer, then, must be above reproach, the husband of one wife, temperate, prudent, respectable, hospitable, able to teach, 3 not addicted to wine or pugnacious, but gentle, peaceable, free from the love of money. 4 He must be one who manages his own household well, keeping his children under control with all dignity 5 (but if a man does not know how to manage his own household, how will he take care of the church of God?), 6 and not a new convert, so that he will not become conceited and fall into the condemnation incurred by the devil. 7 And he must have a good reputation with those outside the church, so that he will not fall into reproach and the snare of the devil.

8 Deacons likewise must be men of dignity, not double-tongued, or addicted to much wine or fond of sordid gain, 9 but holding to the mystery of the faith with a clear conscience. 10 These men must also first be tested; then let them serve as deacons if they are beyond reproach. 11 Women must likewise be dignified, not malicious gossips, but temperate, faithful in all things. 12 Deacons must be husbands of only one wife, and good managers of their children and their own households. 13 For those who have served well as deacons obtain for themselves a high standing and great confidence in the faith that is in Christ Jesus.

Trump had better start telling these people that all conversations will be recorded.

From what I have seen come out of his unfiltered mouth, I suspect this would harm Trump more than help him.

That's a better resume then any two faced ivy league lawyer politician, who has wormed his/her way up the establishment party ladder, where feigning interest in the voters is an art form practiced during election cycles, but true allegiance is the uni-party system.

Time to rock the boat and see who can swim.
