A top fundraiser for Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker's presidential campaign met with rival Donald Trump on Monday, The Wall Street Journal reports, but what happened in the meeting – and who requested it – is a matter of debate between the two parties.
Anthony Scaramucci, Walker's national finance co-chairman, told the Journal that Trump tried to get him to defect to the Trump campaign, but Scaramucci told him that wasn't going to happen.
"He wants to drop Walker and go with me," the Journal quoted Trump. "He wants to endorse me. He said, 'I want to drop Walker and endorse you.'"
"What I said to him again today is that I love him as a guy, but I’m loyal to Scott Walker," Scaramucci countered. "That does not detract from my friendship with him, but can he please stop railing on the hedge-fund industry?"

Certainly the way Donald Trump goes on and on about himself and retells the story of events is cringe worthy to many.

".......Monday’s meeting came less than three hours after Mr. Scaramucci criticized Mr. Trump on the Fox Business Network. Mr. Scaramucci accused Mr. Trump of being “a Democratic plant” for Hillary Clinton and said he is wealthy only because of his father.
“The politicians don’t want to go at Trump because he’s got a big mouth and they’re afraid he’s going to light them up on Fox News and all these places, but I’m not a politician,” he said. “Bring it. You’re an inherited-money dude from Queens County. Bring it, Donald.”
Mr. Trump said Mr. Scaramucci requested the meeting last week after he began the hedge-fund attacks. Mr. Scaramucci said Mr. Trump’s office asked to meet with him Monday morning after he went on Fox Business.
“I watch this guy talking badly about me in the morning, and two hours later he’s in my office telling me I’m the smartest guy he knows,” Mr. Trump said........."

I am sure everyone on Walker’s team as an eye on their future because he is self-destructing and is going to be gone in the not to distant future. Else, how many do overs does he get on illegal aliens and amnesty?
No, we don’t need to. Really, the headlines and a few details are more than enough to allow us, like these guys, to cut our loses. Hedge fund people didn’t get rich sticking with a sinking ship.

Many people appear to be sliding more toward the dark side, but they were already there. What we’re seeing, is that they have less control over their behavior now and are losing the ability to conceal their intentions.
You comment is mere deflection from the uncomfortable specter of Donald Trump repeatedly going to the “I’m terrific, everyone loves me, they all come to me” well to spin the truth.
