Murdoch begins ‘draft Bloomberg’ movement as market uncertainty rises
Yahoo Finance ^ | 8/24/2015 | Pras Subramanian

The rumblings are beginning.

Just as the Democratic party considers drafting a 2016 challenger into take on a floundering Hillary Clinton, GOP voices are speaking up about shaking up their primary race as well.

Conservative stalwarts Bill Kristol is leaving the door open for an “October surprise,” even suggesting the possibility that a business person, such as a “saner and sounder” version of Donald Trump, could emerge.

Now enter a man who knows a thing or two of drumming up attention (and selling papers) - Rupert Murdoch. Just as massive stock drop has many investors eyeing the financial headlines, the media mogul is stirring the pot, trying to draft fellow billionaire businessman Michael Bloomberg into the presidential race.

Bloomberg would be dead within 30 days of being sworn in.

He’d die of stress and sleep deprivation. Lying awake in bed each night thinking of new ways to micromanage the lives of 320 million people would kill him.

I do think Bloomie would make a great 3rd party candidate and urge him to do so. He’s got the money, and it’s time for a liberal Perot.

Plus he’s got enough private security to avoid Arkancide.

"The fact that Bloomberg is even being considered is beyond disgusting."

Yes, it's delusional!

Americans know British import Bloomberg as the greatest gun-grabber since King George. The below map and link should be a reality check for supporters of gun grabber Bloomberg:

There obviously is ZERO difference between what the Republican Party has become and the Libtard Party, ZERO difference! The term “RINO” has become meaningless, as everything previously considered traits of RINOs is now the normal (Uniparty) party line.

Bloomberg’s criminal anti-gun efforts used to line him up perfectly with the Libtard Party. Evidently those same efforts are considered normal republican qualities now by the leader of the mainstream republican (Uniparty) propaganda outlet.

Bloomberg is not a Republican.

He only ran for mayor of New York as a Republican because all of the democrat slots were taken.

I call BS. I see little chance for any new entrants in the Republican side at this point. The action will be people dropping out - not starting to run. This is just noise in some desperate attempt to unsettle Trump (which isn’t going to happen)

Trump’s just announced 32% in polls explains Murdoch’s move to Bloomberg, political enemy of the large size soft drink.

“This is just noise in some desperate attempt to unsettle Trump (which isn’t going to happen)”

that was my first thought too when I asked myself what was Murdoch’s motive. It’s the only conclusion that makes sense, excepting perhaps Murdoch is so far removed from reality that rational decision making is not possible.

Bloomberg would have to run as a Democrat. The only votes he would steal are from Yeb ad Pataki.
