Murdoch begins ‘draft Bloomberg’ movement as market uncertainty rises
Yahoo Finance ^ | 8/24/2015 | Pras Subramanian

The rumblings are beginning.

Just as the Democratic party considers drafting a 2016 challenger into take on a floundering Hillary Clinton, GOP voices are speaking up about shaking up their primary race as well.

Conservative stalwarts Bill Kristol is leaving the door open for an “October surprise,” even suggesting the possibility that a business person, such as a “saner and sounder” version of Donald Trump, could emerge.

Now enter a man who knows a thing or two of drumming up attention (and selling papers) - Rupert Murdoch. Just as massive stock drop has many investors eyeing the financial headlines, the media mogul is stirring the pot, trying to draft fellow billionaire businessman Michael Bloomberg into the presidential race.

I just lost any respect I had for Murdoch. The good news is that Bloomberg has absolutely zero chance of getting the Republican nomination...

About that title.

There is no letter “R” in the word “Daft.”

WND had an article that Romney was thinking about jumping back in. That’s just what Bush and Walker need. Another GOPe candidate splitting up their dwindling share of the vote.

Bloomberg will completely fail.

I hope he wastes his money.

Bloomberg as president equals a greater loss of freedom. He is nothing more than a facist.

The good news is that Bloomberg has absolutely zero chance of getting the Republican nomination...

I'm still suffering from PTSD over the last two elections.

I don't consider that ANY horrible candidate has zero chance of getting any nomination or winning any office.

I was SURE that Obama was unelectable in 2008 and 2012. I was sure that Bill De Blasio wouldn't win in New York.

Bloomberg, Romney, Bush, Walker, Rubio, Kasich... they can all fight it out for the bottom 20% of the Republican barrel.

Just another millionaire or billionaire in the race, like Trump and Cruz and Bush.

The more squishes the better. What we need is more guys like Romney and Bloomberg splitting up liberal GOP primary votes, and Chamber of Commerce PAC funding.

LOL!

Like somehow all of Trump’s support is from just the business angle.

The media(sic), want deep pockets in the race.

Just like the cowboy owner Jerry Jones, they would have their mothers dancing naked at half time if they could grab one more dollar.

Proof positive that wealth and intelligence aren’t always synonymous.

The Chamber of Cronies are really desperate to vomit up yet another candidate given that their top 3 choices are getting shelllacked.

Conservative stalwart Bill Kristol ...

And that's all you need to know about the seriousness of this article.

Is this the same Bloomberg that couldn’t wait to leave NY each week?, that wanted to control what people ate and drank and take away their gun rights? Someone needs to point out to Murdoch that we already have someone in the White House that can’t wait to be somewhere else, wants to control what people eat drink and take their guns away.
