Washington (CNN)Scott Walker on Sunday took his third position within seven days on Donald Trump's proposal to end birthright citizenship, this time saying he opposes Trump and supports the policy.
The Wisconsin governor and Republican presidential candidate was asked on ABC's "This Week" whether he backs Trump's push to end the 14th Amendment's mandate that all children born in the United States are automatically granted citizenship.
"Well, I said the law is there. And we need to enforce the laws, including those that are in the Constitution," Walker said, adding that he favors addressing illegal immigration by improving border security and requiring businesses to use a system called E-Verify to check workers' legal status.

H1-B visa holders are assured of being indexed to only a percentage of the average income of US citizens. They are always cheaper and glad to be here and employers are glad to keep them.

C’mon now. I’ve started to appreciate him. He is doing a great job of drawing people over to Trump.
It costs $15-20k in fees, legal etc. to get an H1-B. But L-1 Visas are unlimited, and they can’t jump to another company with their L-1. L-1 Visas depress wages way more than H1-Bs, but no one talks about those.
I’m for getting rid of both types, but Cruz only spoke to increasing by 500% the number of H1-B visas.
He has been wishy washy from the start about illegal aliens.
We don’t have time for someone to make up their mind whether they side with the citizens and the rule of law.

Plus, you don't realize L-1a are where the wages are really depressed. I've seen H1-B's get hired for more than citizens. I've seen companies that won't hire H1-Bs because of the expense and risk. The original company pays $15-20k and then a month later, that person gets hired by another company for more money and they take their H1-B with them. L-1s are not portable, so they don't have competition, so they don't get paid as much.
