Franklin Grahams annual compensation of $880,000, revealed in a Charlotte Observer story, has some worrying that too many top Christian nonprofit leaders as well as pastors are seeing themselves as CEOs instead of as Gods servants...
A spokesman for Franklin Graham said his compensation was determined by independent commissions that compared similar organizations top salaries. Graham was not available to answer questions.....

His father’s salary was set-up the same way, as I recall.
Franklin is preparing to do a nation wide tour to call America back to the Creator.
This is obviously a hit piece. He has broken no law, done nothing unethical or immoral. This is media smear job.
So, you can’t be a CEO and do God’s work. Obviously, when doing God’s work you should financially struggle.
Liberalism is a mental disease.
Ask them how much the priests of Baal at Planned Parenthood make per year.
Last time I looked, all God asked for is 10% of your income whatever you make. Did I miss something new?
Didnt God bless King Solomon with wealth, King Solomon arguably the richest man that ever lived?
Eversine Reverend Graham has been very vocal about issues lately. Looks like someone does not like that. Expect an audit very soon down the road.
If he had spent decades enriching himself by running an abatoir for the unborn, would that be newsworthy?
I’m down with it too. Now Rev Al? Not!
I think I do have a problem with someone asking continually for donations and taking almost a million off the top for personal salary. I like Samaritan’s Purse. I don’t like the salary.
IF he was murdering unborn humans they would be saying he’s underpaid.
I don’t have any issues with it. Plenty make more for doing far less.
Ah the Kansas City Fallen Star is concerned about the transparency of a man of the cloth yet left a couple of major stories about Jay Nixion on the editing table. No adgenda here.
The Fallen Star is headed for the waste bin of history. Can’t wait to laugh at there final demise.
Agreed. Greed is greed.
On Franklin Graham’s Facebook page, he regularly and consistently takes Emperor Barky to task for his ill advised acts and behavior, is a strong, rock solid supporter of Israel, opposed to the Iran deal, NO friend of Islam, he is absolutely against Planned Infanticide, and if that were not enough, he’s had plenty of kind words to say about Donald Trump.
Based on that alone, I’m surprised he’s not been the target of a federal investigation already.
I have no problem with what Franklin Graham makes as head of his non-profit organization, because he works his heart out every day the best way he can, to do God’s work, help those in need, and speak the Truth to an unbeliving world.
It is the business of those who give to decide what his salary should be. It is not the business of those who do not give or of the liberal left.
I have my own opinion which I will keep to myself. It is irrelevant.
“Agreed. Greed is greed.”
I won’t judge it as greed, since I don’t know anyone’s heart. It does seem unnecessary and excessive to me when you are asking others to contribute and those contributions (for starving kids and war-torn refugees) are going to pay your excessive salary.
And I’ll bet he gives back 10% or more of that to the ministry. People have no problem with CEO’s making millions a year who do no good for anyone but themselves. He only has to answer to the Lord, and I think the Lord would say - well done, my good and faithful servant.
I think Rev Graham has earned that salery. He’s done more to earn it than the clinton’s and algore have to get their multimillions
