Veteran Washington Post reporter Bob Woodward on Monday compared the email controversy engulfing Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton to the downfall of President Richard Nixon.

If they don’t do it now they won’t when she’s POTUS, which is why the Democrats really need her in the WH. It will then be media’s job to go after anyone that goes after the first woman to be elected POTUS not because she would be a woman but because “she” is a democrat.
The problem - that he would never admit - is that if the NY Times or WP applied investigative reporting at this point, the best they could be seen as is being followers, not leaders.

What’s laughable are the Left-wing attempts in the comments section to defend her! What a bunch of weak defenses. Comes down to:
1. Colin Powel did it, too.
2. Jeb Bush and Scott Walker are governors, and they sent private emails. Those private emails could contain information about their National Guard troop movements, so therefore, Bush and Walker did the same thing as Hillary!
3. This is nothing more than 2015 Swift-boating (where, in their dictionary, swift boating = lies).
4. A whole bunch of kill the messenger attacks against Woodward and Joe Scarborough.
5. It’s all a Rethuglican plot!
Y’all need to go over there and post Hillary jokes against them. There are some conservatives and even regular people who don’t like Hillary’s lies doing so. check it out!
Except Nixon was run out of DC on a rail and Hillary is still raking in the donations.

Remember ‘There’s a cancer on the presidency’, `What did he know, when did he know it’... there was a daily drumbeat of similar accusations from the Democrats’ news organs in `74.
2015? crickets .... My newspaper asked me why I cancelled daily service. I told them, because I didn’t trust them and I could get the real news online, and that they were dinosaurs.
As Secretary of State I consider ‘EVERY EMAIL’ sent or received by the SoS (fourth in line to the Presidency BTW) to be of a classified and highly sensitive nature. There should be no excuse or exceptions.
