Veteran Washington Post reporter Bob Woodward on Monday compared the email controversy engulfing Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton to the downfall of President Richard Nixon.

Bob Woodward was the editor of the Washington Post Metro Page when post writer Janet Cooke ran a series of articles about “Jimmy,” a ten year old heroin addict in Washington, DC.
Woodward was told numerous times that there was something fishy about the “Jimmy” articles, but he kept printing them.
Janet Cooke won the Pulizer prize for the Jimmy series.
Then it came out that there was no Jimmy, that it was all fiction.
Janet Cooke lost her Pulitzer Prize and was disgraced and never worked in the media again. The last time she was heard of she was working behind the counter at a department satore.
MEANWHILE, her editor Bob Woodward escaped without a scratch.
The Jimmy Scandal was a blot on journalism.
The Washington Post had its own ombudsman “investigate” its Jimmy disgrace.
The ombudsman (whose salary was paid by the Post) concluded his laughable “investigation” with the comment that, “The Post is a terrific organization.”
Notice that Woodward was Teflon while Janet Cooke was expendable.

His extreme luck on stumbling into Watergate has given this man riches and fame far beyond his due.
It is all a creation of liberal media, much like the qualifications and history of Obama.
well to be fair the book was published several years ago...but there’s still a chance he has a tad more “left over” information
