Sean Hannity Answers Glenn Beck and Defends Donald Trump
Gateway Pundit ^ | Jim Hoft

Earlier this week Glenn Beck went after Sean Hannity and Ann Coulter on Facebook for supporting Donald Trump. Needless to say, Beck is NOT a fan of the New York businessman.

Why are big name “conservatives” supporting him?

I get it if you are tired of politicians, a republican progressive, or you are only about winning (although those who say they would NEVER vote for him is over 50% of REPUBLICANS). Perhaps you are angry and you just want to make someone pay or just want something done and you don’t care how it gets done, but what PRINCIPLES does he have that they are attracted to?

I am not talking about the average Joe, I am talking about Sean Hannity or Ann Colter. How about Savage or Rush?

"Sean Hannity spoke with Glenn Beck this weekend and on Sunday posted this response in defense of Donald Trump. Via The Sean Hannity Show:

My only comment to this, Glenn, is … you are answering your own question in many ways. These are not insignificant things. Why, at this early stage, would you be so dismissive?

1. Fight to win

2. Stand up to China

3. Make America great again

4. Trump has a track record of getting the job done

5. Secure the border 6. Straight talking, non-politically correct politician!

Limbaugh, Hannity, Savage, Levin, and Coulter all like what Trump is saying.

Beck does not..., and is for the same old same old Establishment.

What happened to Beck? Wasn’t he a good guy once?

BEck is treating Trump the same way he did with Newt.

I don’t listen to him. He was talking about Trump like the man is a flea.

I watched the Chuck Todd interview Sunday on MTP. It was great. Todd did not pull any punches. Trump is a master of the interview. No one could pull it off like him.

Todd pointed out Trump’s consistency. Even in the late 80s he was saying the same things.

The man has written books, and he’s giving us some detail.

Todd was about to choke his spit, when Trump said, we have to send all the illegals back, families too. I mean, no compromise.

I love it.

Beck is on a dry drunk half the time. HIs comments on Trump were what you hear from someone who is trying to rationalize a bad position.

How is he going to back down, how are any of them? Krauthammer has written Trump off now three times.

I’m surprised most with Savage. Does anyone know how this came about?

Beck doesn’t like him because he knows a Trump Nomination and possible Presidency would put him out of the picture along with all of the other pseudo/faux conservative establishment pundits on the Sunday shows, on Fox, and even on the radio (EE, GB, etc.).

They’re ALL worried - Megyn, Wallace, Will, Kraut - because a Trump win would basically tell them the American people don’t believe them anymore. They don’t believe their go-along, get-along “concern” and appeasement. They don’t believe these people have any special insight or wizened knowledge about the way things work. They don’t believe in bending over and taking it up the keester in the hopes the second-most evil dreg gets elected.

In short, they’re afraid because that win will have shown the American people that put Trump in office don’t have any faith in THEM.

I guess because Donald went on his show twice. They are both New Yorkers and have the same brash style. It really is a Northereastern thing. Not many will go on Savage’s show, for whatever reason. He had lunch once with Romney - before he was the candidate - and Romney wouldn’t even go on his show once he was the candidate. So, I think it’s more of an ego thing with Savage.

I’ve had the chance to listen to Beck a few times over the past weeks and he and his crew sound like Cruz supporters.

Isn’t Beck supposed to be on a Trump embargo? The guy has gone mental over Trump. Listened to him and his hyenas go on about how he lost the debate and how intelligent people like his audience don’t like Trump.

Pray America is waking

Many livelihoods depend on strife.

If education, immigration, spending/debt, taxes, Obamacare, conflicts, etc. were solved, what would politicians campaign on? What would paid talkers talk about?

People need to be riled up and focused on solving problems they have no intention of solving in order to keep audiences, votes coming in, campaign coffers full, etc.

Some care and want issues addressed, but a whole lot see our problems as a gravy train and are invested in the status quo.

Beck sounds more like GOPe George Will, "Do we really want Donald Trump to have a nuclear missile?"

...or Trump basher, Krauthammer.

Who is this “Beck” of which you speak? I heard about some guy who apparently cries on TV ALOT and doesn’t like gun rights and waffles all over the place and who tried selling a lot of books and other things and always overplayed “breaking news” in order to increase viewership. That Beck? He and Geraldo are only separated by the religions they follow.

There you go. I don't know if Trump has it or not, at this point. But what I like best is his dismissiveness of most presstitutes. Most so-called journalists over the past 35 years have clearly picked sides, and they have actively placed a fat thumb on the scales at every opportunity. The last straw was the elephantine Candy Crowley and her inserting a lie into a debate to protect the Kenyan. I wasn't fond of Romney, and he clearly coasted thinking he had won, but her favoritism was so apparent to have been disgusting.

What I want to see Trump do, is to skip the next debate on CNN. Instead, he should announce he will simulcast his participation online and offer commentary on the questioners. He should answer what is reasonable and ridicule the questions designed to stir up trouble and those that are designed to protect the democrat candidates.

Which do you think would have more viewers?

“What am I missing? Just based on his favorability ratings he could never win in a general. Research shows that he may be near his ceiling now.”

You’re missing the fact that favorability ratings are NOT set in stone. Trump’s went way up when he hit hard on border security, may have gone up after the debate but probably went down due to his Megan tif. And when I said his favorability went up, it also meant that the percentage of people that would “never” vote for him dropped - something like 15 to 20 points. Obviously “never” is a spongy word in the political world.

But now he’s back to the issues, again hitting hard on border security. His favorability ratings will climb with his polling numbers, just as they have done in the past. And that applies to both the Republican Primary Electorate, as well as the general election electorate.

Interesting that he put both his question and the answer in the same paragraph. But at least he’s asking...and perhaps he’ll read this.

I would tend to agree.

Beck’s approval or disapproval of some political candidate....is of no consequence.

I am not one right now who is a declared voter for Trump. I am for Cruz. But I do not see the harm in his presence as most do, particularly our corrupted media and so-called conservative pundits on the Sunday Circus circuit.

Frankly, I’d be much more scared of a Bush, Rubio, Kasich presidency than Trump. The others like Christie, Graham, etc. aren’t even “shows” in the W/P/S vein in my book.

Well, then that’s another example of Trump being able to go before any audience at any time.

I think he needs to rev up his security detail. It seems pretty lax, and now that he’s coming out for deportations etc., he’s going to be a target.
