The border wall Donald Trump wants (mostly) exists.

Newsflash to both Donald Trump and Ann Coulter: that wall youre saying the U.S. needs to build along its border with Mexico
it mostly exists. There arent any lasers, a shark-filled moat, or auto-turrets, but its there. Dont believe me? Here it is in Mexicali, California.
And Arizona.
And New Mexico.

I know HotAir has gone full GOPe, and is totally anti Trump, but I still thought this was satire. However, the writer posted this in the comments section.
FTR, no one told me to write this piece, I picked the topic because I started doing research on the current border fence/wall situation. The build a wall rhetoric is nice, but just chanting that isnt, IMO, going to get anywhere. Theres geological considerations to make, plus private property considerations to make. Should the Sonoran Desert fence be higher? Probably. But Im also in favor of using more technology on the border too. Just having a wall/fence wont solve the problem.

BUILD A WALL...
Patrol it like the Israeli’s do.
I think the REAL fear is what ending the free flow of drugs from Mexico would do to the inner-city economies.

Technology on the border means let’s do nothing & pull the wool over the eyes of the public.

You don’t need manpower to guard the wall. Just place landmines. Need to know someone crossed? It’s called an explosion.

I wonder if this author of this article has talked to Trump...does he know what Trump is wanting in a ‘wall’? Does he know what Trump wants it to look like, is it going to be electric, or lazer, or what?
Before you tear someone apart about something, first find out if that person has any one on one dealings with the person they are tearing apart, or are they just rabbling to hear their jaws rattle?????

That’s not a wall. Thats a ‘good neighbor’ fence. If we only had a ‘good neighbor’ to the South it might actually work.
To: Hojczyk
Yes, they will. I like it though.

This is a problem that the government has not wanted to solve. A real wall will work.

Well, I thought Trump wanted the biggest, best wall ever. So, I’d check out the Great Wall’s specs, make it a foot (or more)higher and six inches thicker.

The author appears to be some kind of moron. If the fence exists everywhere and it is effective, why do we have millions of illegals in the country?

Wall/fence sure works in the Yuma sector. And the San Diego sector. I think both human & drug smuggling is down over 80%in both since the fence was built. Maybe more.
Most if not all of the ranchers & residents along the border will welcome the fence along with additional BP presence.
This guy is throwing out the usual straw man arguments.

I am badly out of shape and do poorly in hot weather, but I think I could get over that wall.
Especially if I had a decent ladder.

It’s hard to tell the difference between a liberal and an actual moron - they support the same things. Usually, the liberal is the one who is unable to see their own stupidity. Actual morons usually want to learn to be smarter.
