During a visit to the Iowa State Fair on Saturday, Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump -- while repeatedly describing her as nice woman -- took aim at his GOP rival, former Hewlett-Packard CEO Carly Fiorina, attacking her record in the private sector and her failed California Senate bid.
She's a very nice woman, she got fired, she did a terrible job at Hewlett-Packard, she lost in a landslide -- other than that, she's a very nice woman, Trump, echoing recent comments, told ABC News Martha Raddatz when asked for his thoughts on his solo female GOP competitor for the nomination.

It'd be nice if our next POTUS came in and did that 100 fold with federal government employees though....just sayin.....
Saw her say the other day that she wouldn’t replace government workers as they retire.
Oh YES it would...from the government offices on down....
I would rather have a candidate tell the truth as he sees it rather than some mealy-mouth politically correct BS.
Obviously that's what he thinks.
I disagree with that assessment.
Yo n00bie, a little decorum goes a long way here....know what I mean, skippy?
She wasn’t in acquisition like a trump or Romney. Romney who is considered among the best had about a 20% failure rate and Trumps was near 2%. Just saying...
Having been in business I don’t particularly care about the bankruptcies...you try, things don’t work the way you thought, you try again - IF you have the courage.
I’m not 100% for Trump yet but I like what I hear him say...and I like a lot of the things he’s done. We need a Patton, not a milquetoast rat appeaser, to fix our massive problems.
2004: Hewlett-Packard [at the time] chief Carly Fiorina warned that "there is no job that is America's God-given right anymore."
The comment was in relation to outsourcing.
Very well said FRiend.
Those who have failed big have only done so because they risked it all to begin with.
Trump has filed bankruptcy 4 times but has succeeded 100's of times, guess what he get's criticized for?
Pathetic and sad indeed.....especially when you consider bankruptcy is wholly Constitutional and there for a specific reason....sigh
The Donald tells it like it is. He’s not my candidate, but if he takes out RINOS like Fiorina I’ll be happy.
That’s a 10 year old magazine cover that you are posting. The HP Compaq merger has been successful.
Dude, seriously? Henry Ford, Sam Colt, Fredrick Tudor and dozens of great entrepreneurs went bankrupt before achieving success. Of some 100 companies Trump had, FOUR went bankrupt.. That’s a win percentage the Babe Ruth Zyankees would take.
Got all that? By the time she was 30, she had not held a job for more than a year, and her educational fields are all over the place, and she already has a divorce under her belt... not exactly Presidential background thus far... then she decides to marry her way to the executive suites...
1985, marries Mr Fiorina... who happens to be an exec at AT&T. Not tough to guess how her marriage ended and how she got married less than a year later...
Now, married to an AT&T exec, watch her career path suddenly change:
1995, led corporate operations for the spinoff from AT&T of Lucent...
1996, appointed president of Lucent's consumer products business...
1997, appointed chair of Lucent's consumer communications joint venture with Philips...
1998, named group president for the global service provider business at Lucent...
1999, named chief executive officer of Hewlett-Packard Company (received a larger signing offer than any of her predecessors, including: $65 million in stock, a $3 million signing bonus, a $1 million annual salary (plus a $1.253.75 million annual bonus), $36,000 in mortgage assistance)
2001, merger with Compaq...
2003, requests for voluntary pay cuts to prevent layoffs (subsequently followed by the largest layoffs in HP's history)...
2005, forced to resign from HP...
2006, USAToday names her Worst Tech CEO of all-time
Overcame breast cancer, and then took it to Barbara Boxer during her 2009 campaign against her. Made a classic bad ad ("demon sheep"), and lost... but her line "I have to say that after chemotherapy, Barbara Boxer just isn't that scary anymore" was also a classic.
She is THE best person to go after Hillary from now until NOV 2016... but she also should not be the nominee nor named the VP.
Trump's bankruptcies "restructured" his debt. Now does that mean he gave up assets and paid the debt on a different timetable, with lower interest rates, or does that mean that his creditors took an outright loss?
From what I've seen on a local level, filing bankruptcy means screwing the people you owe. Doesn't necessarily dead-end the screwer, but maybe it should.
Both Carly and Donald used valid legal tactics to succeed in business
His worked
Hers didn’t
Someday Trump will be a case study for Wharton MBA’s
Carly - not
How about Romney? Did he ever take advantage of bankruptcy law?
Good summary
Destroyed HP.
Lost California Senate campaign in Landslide.
War on Women useful idiot.
Designated Loser from the GOPe to replace Amnesty Jeb.
