It was Jeb and Rubio. Donors were trying to get Walker to boycott it as well.
It certainly would if they'd have agreed to the boycott scheme. As it played out, the three stooges can say that this is evidence that they do NOT follow the donors.
The corruption in/around Washington is tough to root out. The payoffs are indirect. Nothing illegal, etc. Or at least not much illegal.

I got to 40 and realized I hadn’t even touched on immigration
I didn’t watch “The Apprentice” much, but I do remember Omarosa. She was ... difficult. Trump tried to take her under his wing, counseled her, gave her every opportunity. He was more than fair to her and appeared genuinely saddened to let her go. And now with this public defense of Trump, it’s clear that she knows it, too.
