BREAKING: The U.S. Senate has voted to continue the federal funding of Planned Parenthood despite the fact that they harvest and sell the body parts of aborted babies.

A pro-abortion extremist minority in the U.S. Senate has filibustered a vote to defund Planned Parenthood.

A bipartisan majority of the Senate voted to close debate and vote to cut off the abortion giant’s taxpayer funding, falling short of the 60-vote threshold to avoid a filibuster.

This means that a minority of the Senate – led by Planned Parenthood’s pro-abortion political allies – have blocked a vote.

Planned Parenthood continues to rake in over $500 million of our tax dollars a year. It continues to murder nearly 330,000 babies a year. And it continues to pad its bottom line by selling these murdered babies’ body parts.

Yet 45 Members of the Senate voted to allow this barbarity to continue to be funded by you and me, the taxpayers.

While we must hold these Senators accountable for their vote for barbarity, it is equally important to thank those Senators (a bipartisan majority including Senators Manchin (D-WV) and Donnelly (D-IN)) who spoke out to stop subsidizing Planned Parenthood’s abortion business.

Our fight to defund the abortion giant will not be deterred. A majority of the Senate and a majority of Americans do not want to be forced to pay for this evil.

A new budget year begins in a couple of months and if our fearless republican majority were serious, they would simply refuse to include funding for this activity in the budget. Instead, they continue the dishonest practice of funding everything with a simple majority vote, then stage these designed to fail votes to take the money back which requires a 60 vote majority to invoke cloture or a 2/3 vote in both houses to overcome a veto. They are not serious and, as a group will do almost anything to keep from offending any special interest.

It is why we need to get these bastards out of leadership positions. If they continue to get reelected, then we get the government we deserve.

PP is a moral issue of the highest order. If we can't get our side to show some passion and outrage about this, what do they need to have a spine. IF the GOP wanted to stop this funding they certainly could have over the many past years that appropriations included funding for this evil body parts organization. BUT No they have not taken such action. Why should I be upset in 2015 - GWB had a chance to shut this down when his party controlled Congress. Did he? NO he had control of the Congress during 2001-2005. This cannot solely be blamed on the DEMONRATS, although I readily admit abortion is their sacrament.

What I find so paradoxal, is that many of these butchers got into office via of the black vote. It’s the same black vote that screams: “Black Lives Matter”, yet they continue to vote and support the very butchers that kill thousands, if not millions, of black lives. I find it amazing. Low information voters, I guess.
