The tipping point on Planned Parenthood
The Washington Post ^ | July 31, 2015 | Kathleen Parker

Posted on 08/02/2015 8:33:28 AM PDT by Hojczyk

Planned Parenthood, faced with a renewed push for federal defunding (to the tune of a half-billion dollars), has begun a public relations campaign of its own. As of Friday, two ads had been released, each featuring a breast-cancer survivor who says she wouldn’t have survived without the health care she received from the organization.

But is this true? Negligibly.

Planned Parenthood offers only a manual breast exam that any woman can do herself — and performs no mammograms. Rather, it refers women to other clinics. Thus, the ads are at least exaggerated if not purposely deceptive.

Also deceptive is the claim that defunding Planned Parenthood would strip women of health care. In fact, a Senate bill to defund Planned Parenthood, co-authored by Rand Paul (R-Ky.) and Joni Ernst (R-Iowa), stipulates that all of its public funding be reallocated to federally qualified community health centers, which provide all women’s health-care services except abortion, without regard to a person’s ability to pay.

In other words, Planned Parenthood would still be able to provide abortions, since no federal funding can legally be used for abortion, anyway. And abortion opponents would no longer have to worry that their tax money was going to an abortion provider, even though the funds can’t legally be used for abortion.

In final ironies in this theater of the grotesque, Planned Parenthood doctors performing abortions often use sonograms so they can ensure that the imminently deceased baby’s organs aren’t damaged. Yet, Planned Parenthood has persistently fought “informed consent” laws requiring that women be shown their sonograms pre-abortion, arguing that abortion is hard enough without showing women what they’re about to destroy.

Some might even call it disturbing.

When Kathleen Parker sticks to her conservative guns (as here), she can really nail it.

Rather, it refers women to other clinics

And for this PP deserves millions upon millions of our tax money? Did some kind of doctor ever touch this woman's breast? Do they even lay out brochures for the would be "mothers" to even think about what's going on with their boobs?

I wouldn’t be surprised to find a lot of that money makes it way back to fund Democrats. At the very least, Planned Infanticide (aka Planned Parenthood) must be using government funds to campaign for more government money.

As in all these “charity” cases, a service so supposedly vital as abortion should have no shortage of feminists and liberal billionaires queuing up to make up for the funding shortfalls. Maybe PI can do a telethon showing how they chop up little children! That should bring the donors in.

I don’t think the union Neanderthals coming to the defense of the PP baby butchers is going to help PP’s cause a whole lot. I do understand that commies and killers have to stick together but this was a bad move.

If Americans effectively vote to continue supporting Planned Parenthood in 2016, the you can kiss my “Buy American” beliefs goodbye.

Planned Parenthood is less about “women’s health” than it is about providing the last ditch form of birth control for those women who fail to practice adequate contraception. Unless rape is involved, the woman is in control of what happens in these situations.

The so-called “Women’s Liberation Movement” has essentially given license to women to be as sexually active as many men in this degenerating culture. If you need help conceptualizing or visualizing that, think the sleazy TV production “Sex In The City”. I forced myself to watch a few episodes just to be sure what I’m about to say is as correct as it is politically incorrect. It portrays 4 quintessential women libbers who spend much of their time bed-hopping among various partners.

Putting aside the shared problem of STD’s borne by BOTH partners, until the Supreme Court decides that true equality demands that MEN also be allowed to give birth (we can expect that decision next term), women bear the unique consequence of a planning error or contraception failure called “pregnancy”. And the more sexually promiscuous they are, the greater the risk of a “planning error” or contraception failure and an unwanted pregnancy.

The “solution” to that “problem” came in 1973 in Roe v. Wade and the availability of abortions. Let’s call it what it really is: The killing of a baby in the former sanctity and safety of its mother’s womb.
Many folks don’t know this, but the plaintiff, Norma McCorvey, said that her greatest sin, greater even than her sins of selling drugs, cheating people and being an abusive alcoholic, was to be “the plaintiff in Roe V. Wade.” In repentance, she was baptized by a fundamentalist minister and joined the anti-abortion group, Operation Rescue. (She never DID have that abortion but delivered the baby and adopted it out.)

I recently watched FOX Network News commentator Charles Payne discuss the Planned Parenthood scandal. He echoed the very sentiment with which I planned to close this rant. If you don’t know him, Charles is a highly intelligent gentleman who overcame a hardknock ghetto youth to become a successful investment adviser. He is also black. I note that simply to further legitimize his comment.

The token “progressive” member of the panel offered that Planned Parenthood performed not just abortions, but OTHER much needed “women’s health” services and defunding them and forcing them to halt abortion would cause them to close those nearby inner city facilities. Charles quickly responded that those non-abortion services were available from local hospitals and real health clinics. He added that the unavailability of quick and inexpensive abortions might have the effect of CAUSING THOSE INNER CITY GIRLS TO RETHINK THEIR SEXUAL ACTIVITIES. It might even help to bring some much needed stability back to those inner-city families.

In a nation where we have been killing babies for 42 years, this is just some grossly politically incorrect food for thought as we approach what I pray is the DEFUNDING of the euphemistically named Planned Parenthood.

Agreed. If PP continues to receive taxpayer money I will “secede” from this country. I will not be a part of a nation that is engaged in a Holocaust against millions of unborn babies. I just flat refuse to.

The German people, supporters of the Nazis or not, civilian, bureaucrat, or soldier, did not escape judgement and retribution for THEIR Holocaust. I don’t know why Americans expect to be treated differently.

Soon or later Americans will pay and pay dearly for their actions. Or their apathy.

I would take it a step further. Planned Parenthood is more about neutering situations that will inevitably lead to an abortion, enabling them to harvest viable organs from unborn children all while deceiving the public into believing that are performing some sort of service.

What tipping point? Do we mean the tipping point where planned infanticide sees it’s Federal funding increase? Given the gop “leadership” that’s the predictable end result.

The gop wing of the uniparty doesn’t want the funding for planned infanticide to go away any more than the rat faction. We might see a show bill, but that will be about it.

And that, ladies and gentlemen, is exactly what we get for voting.

Voting=complicity.

Yeah, to the feminazis and liberals (libertines) “equality” never meant raising the “oppressed” higher. It’s always about finding the lowest and most reprehensible behavior, and dragging everybody down to THAT.
So here we are in utopia, and we’re all “free” to do anything we want, and if any inconvenient children result, we can demand the state to feed them or kill them for us.

God knows Cecile Richards isn’t qualified to flip a light switch.

The panic in her eyes - as well as her poker-tell extended blinking - is hilarious and revealing. She sees a life of luxury predicated on the worst sort of depravity evaporating along with her probable planned foray into electoral politics.

Where I live some PP people were on the street yesterday with clipboards. They were probalby looking for people to help keep their federal funding.

If I’d only had a sign that read, “No baby parts available at this location” I’d have set it up and YouTubed the reactions.

Anyone is free to use the idea.
