Some highway billboards are the same wherever you go across this great land of ours: McDonald’s, Target, Walmart. Others are more regional (where is the line at which Carl’s Jr. becomes Hardee’s, anyway?). Some are particular to states, and those road-tripping through Oklahoma will likely see billboards directing them to visit online adult toy shops and to alert law enforcement about any methamphetamine use they come across. And in one small part of the state—the town of Durant, in the southeast corner—visitors and residents may now feast their eyes upon a message against marriage equality.
The plea comes from Betty and Richard Odgaard, an Iowa couple who say they recently closed their wedding business rather than perform same-sex marriages. Iowa legalized same-sex marriage in 2009, but the Odgaards and their Görtz Haus Gallery came under fire in 2013 when they refused to assist two men with their upcoming nuptials, citing their Christian beliefs, The Blaze reports. A small payout from the lawsuit, followed by boycotts and a decline in their accompanying flower and restaurant businesses, led the couple to close their doors at the end of July.

After their wedding business was shuttered, the couple established a nonprofit called God’s Original Design Ministry. They plan to place up to 1,000 anti–gay marriage billboards around the country. God’s Original Design Ministry is listed as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, which means it doesn’t have to pay taxes on the money people send in.

Add “Truth: It’s the new hate speech”.
The truth hurts. Good sign.
Then they can be sued for discrimination. Make them play by their own rules, and live up to their own standards.
A Thousand Points of Hate Rebellion:
God makes it very clear what He considers to be sin. It is not showing love to anyone to soft-peddle those declarations. Moreover, He makes it very clear that any church that soft-peddles His decrees is no church of His.
Having said that, our challenge is how to live as faithful Christians in a society that must by its very nature be structured to be peaceful even where people hold beliefs that are contrary to each other.
I would caution well-meaning people to be careful about accepting liberal rhetoric. The meaning of many words have been co-opted to the advantage of liberal ideology. Disagreement or holding a different opinion is not “hate”, when in reality to a liberal, any idea that opposes their agenda is “hate”.
Moreover, I know that the liberal agenda is hateful to God and His way of life. They must destroy an aspect of God in our society. They must grind into the dust any person who dares to remind people of what God has said on any given issue of morality.
We are engaged in an ideological war that springs from the war of evil against good. But usurping government to destroy good is not new. In fact, the Gospels make it very clear that Satan used the Roman government to murder Jesus, and he did so via human proxies. We are seeing human proxies in real-life action today. Nothing new, only new humans.
If you oppose communism, does that mean that you hate Democrats? If you oppose porn, does that mean that you hate the half of the men in this country who enjoy it?
The person who sent her the message should be proud! I’d be looking into my legal options regarding the “news” story, too.
I don’t know if you are aware of this but a Christian pastor in Sweden has already been jailed for 5 months for preaching what God says about homosexuality in his own church. Leftists are word twisters. They play their perverse word games. They will NEVER be honest or straight. They are very much like Satan, always misleading and bringing people to ruin. You are totally right about what you are saying—they want to take all of our freedoms away from us and they do it in their serpent like way little by little and with treacherous words.
I stopped voting for Democrats over 30 years ago when they came out in favor of abortion and homosexuals. My loyalty it to God and not to any party that will turn their back on Him.

This is not technically true. Iowa voters overwhelmingly voted against gay marriage. Six Iowa judges overruled the will of the people. Illegally. We got rid of three of the six judges in the following election.

In Illinois, it was the rat legislature that legalized queer “marriage”, they knew better than to put it to a vote by the people, the rat legislature knew it would fail that test, even though the majority of the voters are mind numbed rats.

Isn’t it amazing that Evil is being called “Good” and “Good” (Truth/God) is demeaned and denigrated in our “Justice” system and “schools” and public square, now.
Promoting and protecting sodomizing and killing people-—the reestablishment of the Religion and Rites of Ba’al Worship——and they are even erecting statues to this goat-god in the USA now-—with a ‘Natural Right” to worship irrational, evil entities in a so-called “Just” system (Rule of Law/Higher Laws/God’s). It is not “Just”-—which makes the laws “null and void” by definition-—it is Evil law and so unconstitutional.
When Right Reason and Virtue are kicked out of Just Law-—you have chaos and corruption of all children from the toxic culture that results from the promotion of Evil, just like the Weimar Republic and their Prussian system of programming which produced the Hitler Youth Mind.
As Montesquieu stated, all Republics need to “promote virtue” at all time. Tyrannies have to promote fear and hate (diversity/tolerance of evil)-——which is what Wash. DC has been doing for a very long time now.
It is past time to reform our “Justice” system-—and allow only Rule of Law and not Rule of Oligarchy which is evil.
They take perfectly good words like "rainbow", "pride", "gay", "diversity", and "justice" and pervert them so completely that the original meanings are nearly obliterated and become unusable. When was the last time a happy, innocent person was described as "gay"? You cannot even use the word.
And look at the symbology of the rainbow. One of the most magnificent and beautiful things in nature that was a sign from God after the flood, has been perverted and twisted so completely that seeing a rainbow flag nearly makes me want to spit in disgust.
That maddens me nearly as much as anything else they have done.
