Some highway billboards are the same wherever you go across this great land of ours: McDonalds, Target, Walmart. Others are more regional (where is the line at which Carls Jr. becomes Hardees, anyway?). Some are particular to states, and those road-tripping through Oklahoma will likely see billboards directing them to visit online adult toy shops and to alert law enforcement about any methamphetamine use they come across. And in one small part of the statethe town of Durant, in the southeast cornervisitors and residents may now feast their eyes upon a message against marriage equality.
The plea comes from Betty and Richard Odgaard, an Iowa couple who say they recently closed their wedding business rather than perform same-sex marriages. Iowa legalized same-sex marriage in 2009, but the Odgaards and their Görtz Haus Gallery came under fire in 2013 when they refused to assist two men with their upcoming nuptials, citing their Christian beliefs, The Blaze reports. A small payout from the lawsuit, followed by boycotts and a decline in their accompanying flower and restaurant businesses, led the couple to close their doors at the end of July.

After their wedding business was shuttered, the couple established a nonprofit called Gods Original Design Ministry. They plan to place up to 1,000 antigay marriage billboards around the country. Gods Original Design Ministry is listed as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, which means it doesnt have to pay taxes on the money people send in.

Good. Use the 501c3 for something good.
This is so wonderful. No one tells you what to think ,say or believe in this country.
I don’t think this is hateful. I think yahoo is gay.
Agreeing with God is now “hate” and “intolerance”.
Yahoo “news” is a joke.
Works for me.
The laws of God and nature are not to be mocked.
Did they get any death threats yet? They should stay out of Fort Marcy Park.
Bingo.
Only in the idiot mind of a liberal would this sign be connected with hate!!!
Waiting to see the big corporations that own the billboards denying them service.
Among them are Clear Channel and CBS/Viacom.

They just editorialize away, don’t they? This is supposed to be Yahoo NEWS???
Think I’ll send them some dinero
Nothing at all anti gay in this message. It is just a defense of nature; only men and women can marry.
No!!! It's A Thousand Points of Disagreement. It has nothing to do with "hate".
But now anyone who is not politically correct is hateful. Not just wrong, but hateful. Maybe I should start selling bumper stickers that say:
"Speech is free, but only for the PC."
This is not technically true. Iowa voters overwhelmingly voted against gay marriage. Six Iowa judges overruled the will of the people. Illegally. We got rid of three of the six judges in the following election.
This is hate now. Two things:
1.) If you believe this is hate speech, you do not believe in a Christian God. And there are a lot of people who identify as Christian, who believe this is hate speech. The number of churches of all denominations who will continue to believe homosexuality is a sin, will shrink due to ongoing pressures from outward, and metastasizing liberalism in small, incremental steps, from within.
2.) Anyone who thinks the left, atheists, and others of similar stripe (such as many agnostic or atheist libertarians) will not use this to destroy the belief in God (at least the belief in the God who is the essence of The Bible) has not been paying attention. This is exactly how they are going to do it, and it will someday be a crime to worship that God. You can, of course, if you are weak-minded, gullible or lacking in faith, have the freedom to worship any God you wish. But not “that” one.
Last week a local restaurant was promoting itself on Facebook and a person I know sent a private message to the owner telling her he could not eat there since she supports the LGBT agenda that goes against biblical teachings (she was using the Facebook rainbow filter).
She then attempted to shame and harass him in public by using the biased newspaper to run a front page news story to make an example out of him for not accepting their LGBT agenda.
#LoveWins => #BakeTheCake => #PinkSwastika => #LoveRedefined => #GodRedefined => #HumanityRedefined => #LoveWins
Yea, that sure looks like a message of “hate” (sarc/)
