DNC chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz appeared on Hardball with Chris Matthews this week..the two were discussing Bernie Sanders and the role he should play in the next Democratic National Convention.
Then Matthews asked Schultz to explain the difference between a Democrat and a Socialist and things got very interesting....
Wasserman-Schultz talked up his “progressive populist message” that people like, when Matthews asked her point-blank, “What’s the difference between a Democrat and a socialist? I used to think there was a big difference. What do you think it is?”
Wasserman-Schultz ducked the question, but Matthews pressed her and said, “You’re the chairman of the Democratic Party. Tell me what’s the difference between you and a socialist.”

Or the “modern” Republican party for that matter.
That was pretty funny, but it wasn’t really a fair question because there is no difference.
I can’t figure out who’s dumber, Matthews for asking the question, or DWS for not having a canned answer ready to go. It’s pretty much a toss-up, I guess.
How about Reid and McConnell!
I’d like him to explain the difference between a Democrat and a terrorist, when his own president councils with know members of the Muslim Brotherhood, and he arms them and members of al Qaeda. He also helps fund them.

She is a twit but not as stupid as she looks. She pretends like it doesn’t exist in her party. You see she is a marxist herself and they are keeping it a secret from their 52% pool of presidential voters. She is smart enough to know to keep quiet about some things to her Non compos mentis voting pool.
They spell their ‘official’ titles differently. One starts with a D, the other an S. Other than that...
At one time there was a difference—no longer. The sad truth is that many so-called Democrats are really Marxists. True Socialists are to the right of them.

Please see the web site for the Democratic Socialists of America. There are 70 card carrying members in Congress. If they refer to themselves as a "Progressive" it is their code word to say they are a member of the DSA.
