Now if a dim wanted to, no problem. Of course the helicopter will be someone else’s or a gov-co bird with voluntary donation (huge and expected).

That would be funny. Imagine the state fair fascists seeing and not being able to do much about it.

I agree, someone could sabotage that Helicopter with Trump and Kiddies in it- you know to take out a competitor.

I don’t know the land situation there. It would seem that there would be enough room for him to do this off away from the main attractions. They may deem it to be unfair. I think that’s nonsense.
One more petty bureaucrat who can’t unwind her tangled cobweb of a mind to see a way clear to allow this.
I hope he finds a willing land owner who has property five feet from the fair grounds so he can rub this in their noses.

Now if a dim wanted to, no problem. Of course the helicopter will be someone elses or a gov-co bird with voluntary donation (huge and expected). Heck a Democrat candidate could shut down the airspace over the entire state of Iowa and the MSM would murmur to each other about how cool it is to have that kind of power.

State Fairgrounds wouldn’t have a suitable place, especially at this late date. The space around, which has a lot of room for parking, is still at a premium and is surrounded by housing in the city. Exactly as the story says, there would be room for a helicopter not far outside the Fairgrounds proper.

Mindy Williamson is a fine example of the government mentality that I hope Trump hates and crushes.

Yeah? Personally, I think it looks like Dems, as usual, are the politically-correct meanies in this story. It was nice of Trump to try to do something fun for kids.

State fairgrounds is in the city, and it’s number one problem is parking. Parking space would be the only areas where this could take place. Very unlikely to happen with only a few days lead time. Cool idea though.

The whole point of Trump is that he doesn’t give a damn about a suitable place, a place for parking or anything else. He wants to return America to a place where anything can be done as long as it can be done. It’s the America of the early 20th century.
