Maybe those 2 race baiters wanted the waitress to write “african american couple” just to be pc. As a former bartender and waiter, we also had our own codes for troublesome tables...but that’s for another forum.

Apparently someone’s transitory feelings are more important than someone else’s livelihood. Shame on the owner and the couple if that’s all the waitress did.

It’s become cult like with the race thing. Where if a term or gesture is not liked, it could make national news resulting in a tsunami of hyper offended people playing abused victims feigning outrage demanding heads roll.
Pretty scary stuff for those with no bad intent.

What’s even scarier is that some of the comments on the restaurant’s FB page indicate that the waitress was black. If so, how is there even a scintilla of racism implied?

Once when having dinner at the bar of a restaurant I noticed bartender had used “nice couple”. I was pleased that he didn’t say “old couple”, lol.
