A judge on Thursday threw out a lawsuit filed by George Zimmerman's parents accusing comedian Roseanne Barr of invading their privacy and causing emotional distress when she retweeted their address three years ago.
A lawyer for Robert and Gladys Zimmerman told the judge the couple has not felt safe moving back to their Lake Mary home since Barr called for "vigilante justice" in her March 2012 tweets.

Roseanne Barr should be beheaded...
...according to her own rules...
To: aimhigh
Did Roseanne do it?
She’s guilty, then.

I bet if I tweeted that judge’s home address things would work out a little less favorably for me.

FL judges LIKED the idea of people being penalized for defending themselves. This judge sees this as judicial extortion by implying by force of law that family will be in danger if you assert your rights.

Someone should Tweet the home address of the judge and send out a call for vigilante justice. See how she likes it...

But I bet he’d make damn sure lesbians would get every penny of a judgment they say is due them for anyone who wouldn’t bake them a damn cake.

In addition, the Zimmermans became public figures in the aftermath of the Trayvon Martin killing and willingly entered the national conversation, attorney David Fink argued.Willingly? WTF?

I wonder what happens if Zimmerman posts Barr's home address and calls for vigilante justice?
Nothing, I guess. There seems to be legal precedent now.

Since hers was a re-tweet they’ve really got no case. Now if they went after the original tweeter they might have something. But by the time Rozanne did anything it was already public knowledge.
