so....what is to stop a malicious person from setting up a fake Twitter account and then just re-tweeting the dangerous tweets from the fake originator?
Getting caught. If they’d have been smart they’d have gone after the original tweeter, which could be found out with subpoenas. Of course that’s probably just some shlub. So they went after the deep pockets. Of course if the shlub got it from the phonebook they don’t have a case against him either.
