I love that Jebbie is third. He must be rolling around chewing the carpet over this disaster.

Rick Perry’s strategy of demagogueing Trump as a cancer has worked out superbly, apparently. Not even a blip on the radar for the 3 term governor.

I don't know how anyone could think that a put-down of McCain could generate any kind of national outrage.

The MSM is caught in its own absurd echo-chamber.
They've "bought in to their own press coverage."

The new poll will do nothing to allay the concerns of Republican establishment figures who fear Trump is damaging the GOP brand among general election voters.

If the GOP is a brand it must be the Edsel.

No McCain damage.

Could that be, possibly, because nobody really likes McCain?

Yet there are Trump haters here that insist Trump has made no condemnation, no direct threat or impact on Jeb’s campaign. Here, I’d say that this double lead over Jeb is just mere circumstance, huh?

Rightly or wrongly, good bad or arrogant, Trump does hurt Jeb and for me that is the ONLY point. I honestly don’t want him as President, but he is doing a valuable service.

Don’t worry, McLame is reloading. Can’t let the voice of the people drown out his fellow GOPe’rs.

What has not been discussed yet to any extent is how Trump would run in the national election against a democrat. My sense is that he would take a large share of so called independents and a good share of democrat voters. Much more so that any of the other Republicans now running.

Maybe, just maybe “independents” aren’t wishy washy fence sitters but are true Conservatives who vote “none of the above”. Hmmm?

The longer Trump stays in, the more people will be convinced that he's serious about winning, the higher he'll climb in the polls. Trump is going to appeal to a very broad spectrum of voters, Republicans, Democrats and Independents in the same way that Reagan did. (And, NO!, I'm not saying Trump is the next Reagan).

Trump's main selling point is government's incompetence and it's unmitigated arrogance in spite of their colossal incompetence. That's a point that everyone can agree with and maybe, just maybe, someone like Donald Trump who will be self funded and on nobody's 'payroll', will be able to tackle.

Fact: Both major political parties are losing voters, who are switching to Independent registration. I still keep my Republican registration for only one reason.......being allowed to vote in Republican primaries. However....I no longer identify myself as a Republican!!!

It is so hard for me to believe, that we the people worked so hard to win the Senate & House for the Republican party...only to have Mitch McConnell and John Boehner put (Ds) after their names and do only Obama’s bidding!!! Both should be thrown out of the party, along with there Obamabot leadership positions and their Establishment and RINO traitors!!!

They used to talk about letting “Reagan be Reagan”. This is the first campaign where a “Bush can be a Bush” instead of pretending to be conservative. No Third Bush!
