The only way I'd walk the streets of most cities I'd have to kit up like going on a combat patrol. I really enjoyed my time in Israel. Seeing young folks in civies with slung M-16's, Gallil's and Uzi's.

I remember seeing women walking on the beach with slung M-16's and a mag tucked into their bikini bottoms.

I'm getting old.

the legal definition of ‘concealed’ is different from what we would think.

‘concealed’ means not even an outline discernible...

Folks should have the option of both; ‘concealed’ or ‘open’.

Poll: Do you think MSNBC should be allowed to publish trash and call it news?

Wasn’t it during the 1993 or 1994 Super Bowl, NBC conducted some poll (you had to call a number to register a yes or no vote) about whether or not handguns should be banned in the United States? I remember reading about this in Wayne LaPierre’s book “Guns, Crime, and Freedom” and he mentioned that NBC did not get the answer they were probably hoping for from the majority of respondents to this poll.

Correction:

Only criminals carry guns when the law abiding are banned.

Thus, simple logic dictates that either ‘guns bans’ endanger public safety, or that libs are just plain stupid...which brings me back to #1...

I believe that guns should be carried concealed....

I totally agree.
Having a weapon in plane sight, in my mind, will bring a lot of grief in the long run.
You had better be aware of who is around you.
It brings a lot of unwanted attention, I believe

I know, I know it is all a dream towns never learned to limit the carrying of guns within their town limits; Wild Bill was never shot in a bar; the Gun Fight at the OK corral never happened. You people are unreal. ALL Constitutional Rights are subject to the rule of common sense. Free speech is limited by laws of libel and slander; Religion was limited by forbidding polygamy in the 1880's; assembly by "The Riot Act". Not everyone should be allowed to carry a gun. We have had recent examples. Do you really believe every drunk, and nut should carry a gun?

Nonsense. It was just what is claimed- Wild. You people live in a fantasy world. Do you really want every psychotic, drunk and 13 year old youth to carry a gun? You open carry nuts all over look the fact that it was the towns in the 1860’s through the 1880’s that limited the carrying of fire arms. Experience limited open carry by everyone. There was a reason for the imposed limits. Common sense has flown from this country.

Now at 195k total with 177k saying YES! It’ll never see the light of day. Did anyone tweet it to the lyin’ king who has his finger on the trigger to push for new guncontrol measures? Like I say, “Moron Labe”.

Not everyone should be allowed to carry a gun.

Do you make the decision who does and doesn't?

The murder rate in Deadwood was less than New York City. The shoot out at the Ok was a feud where no one not involved was hurt and yes drunks should be allowed their rights. Nut cases should be properly dealt with by the system (that is broken beyond belief).

I find your comments to be libelous and slanderous against gun owners. You need to curb your postings. You are clearly a drunk or a nut. See how that works?

We make such decisions all the time: just has we decide who has committed murder and who has not; who has stolen and who has not etc. You comment just threw out our system of government, indeed any system of government.
