Many years ago, in a computer trade journal, I saw Intel characterized as a company that depended for its success on the ability of its engineers to override bad management. And I've seen the same thing at companies where I've worked.

One of the problem I've seen with H1B engineers is that, unlike American cowboy engineers, they keep their mouths shut when management screws up. Their highest priority in life seems to be to avoid being fired so they don't get sent back to their Third World homeland.

What is the specialty skill that the current workers, or the local labor pool, is not providing?

I find it odd that a technology innovator like Intel, who practically created the field of micro-computer chips, suddenly feels that third-world workers are going to bring more innovation than their current workforce has been proven to deliver for decades?

Just recently left Intel after training my 3 ... count them ...3 Muslim and Indian replacements. Intel Arizona (and Folsom) is Muslim central ... at least with the people who are in my old fairly large department. They get into management and then get rid of all the American workers and replace them with there own. Seen it multiple times in my 30+ year career in the industry

Regardless of who our nominee is they had better have a pro America worker message and be against H-1B visas period. Too many Americans are suffering and a GOP candidate that talks about this program will get eviscerated by the conservative base and the blue collar voters they will need in the election to win.
